Written as happened
So perfect that it seems difficult to believe a man with such greatness ever lived. As a close aid the writer has brought life to every single event that happened during the life of SAM. I really loved reading the funny incidents and narratives.Hope you all would enjoy reading this book.

Overall perfect 😄
First thing is that everything related to Sir Manekshaw is a gem in itself and so is this book which is written by his ADC , Sir Behram Panthaki and his wife Ma'am Zenobia Panthaki.Easy language, rare pictures of sir Manekshaw, various incidents about his life, splendid reflection of his personality, information about Kashmir issues, partition , mizo hills etc are worth reading. This book is full of knowledge about millitry .Indeed it's a blessing to read such a lovely piece of writing.

A great story of a great hero.
What a great story of grit, determination, courage, and above all of a leader and human being.Life lessons from the real life anecdotes and experiences of a true hero.Narrative is totally engaging, inspiring the reader to know more and more of the man, the ilks of whom are not so easy to be found for a long time.Tips on leadership are applicable not only to those who serve in the defence services, but will serve as a guiding light even outside the army, for generations. How to strike a balance between professional and personal life, and to get the maximum out of them, to deliver the best.Credit for making the story so engrossing and interesting goes to the authors. To sum up: A great story of a great hero.SARBAN SINGHAuthor of book: DREAM JOURNEY ~ Reminiscences of an IAS officer.

DELIGHTFUL, PERSONAL ACCOUNT OF A GREAT MAN
This personal, anecdotal account of Field Marshal Manekshaw's life by one of his ADCs is a delightful read. There are books on the career of this great man but this one concentrates on the piquant eccentricities of a fascinating character. Which is not to say that the author doesn't talk about his brilliant military acumen and unimpeachable integrity. It is however his touching loyalty to all those he loved, his irreverent sense of humour, and a refreshing refusal to tow the line when he didn't agree with it that makes the book so very readable. I have a feeling that Manekshaw was such a fascinating man that the author didn't have to do much more than simply recount what he remembers of him. And he does that really well. Entertaining all the way through..

The Generous Gentleman of Indian Army
A perfect biography book of Fild Marshal Sam Manekshaw. I have never read about any army man before but this. One should read it to know the history maker and the reason of making of Bangladesh. We have a very good advantage because the writer himself was very close to Sam Bahadur. So we can get much more information about him and his smallest details of his personal life , professional life and Sam Bahadur as an individual personality and Sam Bahadur with the Behram Pathki. Amazing biography We can able to Go Back and live To Field Marshal 's life and Events by Behram Pathki and Zenobia Panthaki's words. Must read it will add something to you definitely.
