Electricity supply not compatible with UK
Lower score because it is not UK compatible. I am gutted because I didn’t notice this when ordering. Otherwise it looked great - just what I wanted. I realise I could have ordered a transformer but the ones I saw were either too large or in my experience the smaller ones are prone to overheating. Given my reason for purchasing this model was so I could just walk away and leave it - the need for a transformer prevented me doing this. Also whilst I should have thought of this and the issue re: electricity is on Amazon I think it would help if there was a note to highlight this for future purchasers. I checked Presto’s web site for this issue and it appears they don’t provide UK compatible canners.

Presto automatic canning
This item comes from usa so you will need to buy a step power converter from 240v to 110v you need a good one as it will be a high wattage draw but other than that it's an excellent piece of kit
