These nylon glides look very similar to the nylon glides that Ethan Allen uses on their dining room chairs. They work on both wood and tile floors. These replaced two different kinds of felt glides on my chairs - nailed on and glued on. The glued on felt guides all came off after a short period of time and gummed up the floor. The nailed on worked fine until the felt was worn away after about a year's worth of use. The order arrived on schedule and the product is as advertised. A tip - I drilled a 1/16" hole into the center of the leg about 1/2" deep before I nailed these guides onto the chair leg. That keeps the wood from splitting, especially for a hard wood like maple or oak.

Adhesion is the result of the nails that secure these glides, that being said, they are easy to use and helping preserve the condition of our floors. A good value for the price and they work.

Works but need to be careful while knocking it in that mail doesn’t bend

Only 2 out of 50 bent and failed. I nailed them into very heavy teak patio furniture from Restoration Hardware. These chairs and lounges were nearly impossible to move on my smooth marble patio before i installed these slides. I had felt, stick on slides first, but they didn't slide well at all. Im in Florida so its very humid and and the stick on slides didn't stay stuck. These nailed right in and are working GREAT!

Exactly as described - they work Perfectly. My kitchen floor is well protected, thanks to these. Easy to apply, they seem to be the perfect size for my kitchen chairs, about the right diameter, and look nice, a nice tan color. Chairs glide, as described and my vinyl floors are protected - no more slide marks! I like these, a Good Product. Very Satisfied - Thank you very much!

I bought these to replace some old ones on a set of chairs that had literally worn out. They're good, easy to install and solid. I just wish they were a little bit quieter when sliding the chair across tiles? No better than the old ones

I have been resisting hard plastic floor protectors thinking they would damage our refinished soft pine floors but after a couple of months there are no scratches and the chairs slide with zero resistance. I used felt pads for years and they not only don't remain attached to the floor they collect dog hair. These are PERFECT and I only wish I had purchased them sooner.

Our dining room has wooden leg chairs on a matte finish tile floor. This made for a terrible nails-on-a-chalkboard sound whenever the chairs slid across the floor. These sliders took care of that issue and I haven't noticed any marring.I installed by pre-drilling each leg with a 1/16" drill bit, then pressed each in place with firm pressure using my thumbs. No hammering required.Now I'm buying more for our kitchen island barstools.
