Cuisinart CDST1-S4Q3 Stoneware Marianne Collection 16-Piece Dinnerware Sets

I feel SO BADLY, because these are BEAUTIFUL.The colors go well with the Wedgewood blue highlights in the upscale rental house.BUT they were packaged LIKE CRAP. Literally there was NO PADDING between or in the bigger box to protect them from the bumps & cracks of shipping. IN FACT there was NOTHING on the outer box that even STATED FRAGILE, This side Up, don't stack anything on top.I pass by this enormous pile of beautiful but broken china with the most beautiful pattern, half cups split up what must be the seam, half dinner plates, broken in such a way, that thry couldnt be put backk together again.A CRIME. because they havent gotten them in again & CAN'T replace them. I LOVE THESE DISHES, and I literally out of a two sets of 4 place settings, have like 5 place settings of the cups, but only 3 of the dinner plates.Would I buy them again? In a HEARTBEAT, but the remaining sets TRIPLED IN PRICE.Should YOU buy them. They are beautiful. They have a lovely wavy edge, the remaining dishes are a bit heavy for my arthritis, but I LOVE them.Whoever "packaged" these for shipping, should NOT keep their job, that's how badly these were shipped.I will buy them again when the prices are a bit CLOSER to what I initially paid, to attempt to get ONE full set of 4 place settings out of them.

092719 UPDATE: I am using this set for the first time for an upcoming dinner and I have to report that there are what look like scratch marks. Looks like it is part of the finishing process. I didn't notice it until they were under the dining room light. I'm putting the salad plates on top to cover.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------My dishes arrived yesterday in perfect condition! I saw this set and I missed that opportunity to purchase it. It turned out to be an out of stock and no longer produced product., but I couldn't get it out of my mind. Using only a vague mental picture and no other identification, I looked repeatedly all over the Internet for it, but to no avail. I kept searching though. Still no luck. I became more and more disappointed, but then suddenly one day it just showed up! I was thrilled! And now, in addition to receiving it on time, I'm so pleased to report that it appears to be everything I'd hoped it would be. I love the sleek design and colors and the dishes appear to be in very good condition. I won't be using it for awhile, so I'll report later on how well it holds up, but Cuisinart is usually a pretty dependable company so I'm not too concerned. So, in conclusion; it is a perfectly beautiful product with a perfect delivery! Thank you Cuisinart and Amazon!!

Arrived on time, no plates, bowls or cups were broken on the first delivery which was shocking to me (because others on here had that issue), the only reason I rated this item 4 stars instead of 5 however, was because one plate was scratched on the end, just one (which you can see in the pictures). I decided not to return the plates because I felt it was going to be a huge ordeal, but it does kind of drive me nuts when I see it. All in all, the dinnerware is beautiful, looks just like the picture advertised online, they feel a bit heavy too, which I like and are safe to use in the dishwasher and microwave. I love the look of these plates, everyone who has seen them think they look great. They are good quality plates and I highly recommend to others, I just suggest a lot of patience with the delivery if you want no scratches or broken pieces as others on here have experienced.

I ordered this in 2020 and didn't use it until few days ago.I would not recommend it for the price I got it ($70) 'coz it feels like a bad material used and no finishing whatsoever on the surface.No shine and a very heavy plate.I feel like betrayed.

I am so pleased with this purchase. I originally found these "on sale" through another site, but chose to compare prices elsewhere before I bought them. Amazon was by far the cheapest option.We were ready to upgrade my chipped and scratch set of mismatched dinnerware to something sturdier and more elegant. This set is perfect for us. The color is beautiful and I love the scalloped detailing around the edge. These are dishwasher and microwave safe, and we've subjected the pieces to both without any issues.As for packaging, I read a few other reviews that had me concerned. I decided to take a chance, and I went ahead and purchased 2 sets. They arrived in a gigantic package (almost the size of a refrigerator box). Inside were two more cardboard boxes with some paper stuffing wrapped around. Inside each of those boxes were the product boxes surrounded by bubble wrap. And inside the product boxes was more cardboard and Styrofoam cushioning. The absurd amount of packaging did the trick; not one piece of my order was broken.

I love the colors of this pattern! The green mottled appearance and the dark chocolate backs match well with my log home. The dinner plates have just the right amount of curve at the edges to prevent spills from soupy foods. I thought the outside of the mugs would have the same mottling but it is actually a plain celadon color that kind of matches the dishes. I do like the feel and size of all 4 pieces and would recommend these dishes as accurately described on the listing. Quick and efficient delivery!

This product arrived on time and as described. It has an attractive style that will be hard to match so think ahead whether you might need more in the future.

These are great dishes. Very heavy, with a rustic vibe. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating os because the inside of cups are dark brown, and I like to see the inside of the cup better.

Love the pattern , but the dishes are very large and heavy, the bowls are much bigger then I thought

Love the dishes. Mugs are a bit on the clunky side but very serviceable. Dishes do not appear to be easily chipped. Not sure I would pay the full price of $111 tho', but I purchased them while on sale.
