English Chinese bible ESV-English / CNV - Chinese- Simplified Chinese (ESV/CNV bilingual English Chinese bible)

The ESV is my favorite English translation of the Bible. The most common Mandarin translation in China is old and outdated, but this one is up-to-date. Side by side columns of each on every page. Good for learning English.

Good quality Bible that seems sturdy. The pages are thin which you can see in the pictures but that's fairly common for Bibles to keep the weight (and binding thickness) down. I appreciate that they include a black sheet to put behind the page you're reading to make it easier to read.

Shopping a English / Chinese bible for my Chinese Christian friend. Found this store with the best online price and shipping. Bible arrived at my front door in excellent condition :) My friend has a new insight when reading English and Chinese side by side. Will buy the English / Chinese bible from this store for my other Chinese friend next time.

I wanted a modern dual language translation for my wife. When she looked at and started reading she kept it apart from other bibles so she could use it for her study. I am happy it meet the need.

This item was a gift to a native mainland China co-worker to introduce them to Christianity. This version was recommended by our church's missionary living and working in China. This is a hard-back book and may not be a long term, carry every day, type solution.

The order came very quickly, much faster then I expected. It was brand new in the packaging. It's wonderful to have the English and Chinese side by side so I can share the Bible with my Chinese friends.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a English Chinese bible - in Simplified Chinese (Simplified Chinese for China, Singapore / Traditional Chinese for Hong Kong and Taiwan) This bible is nice, not like some for the paper back bible which fall apart within a month. The prints in good size font and so it's eye friendly. ESV is just great. The Chinese New Version is the only direct translation of Chinese bible also in Modern Chinese. The Union version is good but it is an English translation, also in Old Chinese. It is like reading Old King James. The Chinese Student loves this translation also they can't get it in China so makes it very valuable.
