Universal cup lid fits many glasses and cups 2 Pack Blue

Updated: With the addition of a third ring, these lids do fit a lot of different cups. It fits a 3.5" glass very securely, which is the most common tumbler size cup. As long as it and the part of the glass it touches are dry, it sticks on very well. It's not "spill proof" since liquid can seep from the straw opening. However, it won't spill very much. I love that I can use our regular glasses with our toddler, and I don't have to constantly hover over him to make sure he doesn't spill. He's knocked over completely full glasses twice now, and the spills were very minor. The cap held tight even with the force of a full glass. Moreover, he's knocked over quarter-full glasses a dozen times with no spilling at all. The cap is simple to clean and easy to use. I use it at least three times a day, every day. I'm very grateful to have found these and to be free of those plastic sippy cups. In a humorous incident, my toddler got upset and intentionally knocked his cup over. He glared at the un-spilled cup. Determined to spill the milk, he turned the cup upside-down and shook it. Milk squirted out of the straw hole as he shook it, but the lid held fast. Thanks to the lid, I had a much smaller mess to clean up. There's a trick to help them fit small glasses. Normally, you put the rim of the glass between and inner and outer ring on the lid. For glasses that are a little too small, you can put the rim of the glass inside the inner ring of the lid - the outer ring will hang out over the rim. After using these every day for a year and taking them with us on trips, we still think they're fantastic.

I bought this lid to use with a stainless steel Klean Kanteen insulated pint cup. It fits nicely, is secure and very easy to use. I highly recommend these lids for cold drinks. (My problem with the Klean Kanteen lid is it leaks terribly with the slightest tip.) I drink hot drinks from the KK cup and use a glass straw because, while fine for cold drinks, silicone tastes bad in hot drinks (although, admittedly, I have not tried the GreenPaxx straws.) The GreenPaxx lid keeps the liquid from spilling but the glass straw clanks around in the cup with this GreenPaxx lid so it's not perfect but it's better than spilling hot tea every time I get in or out of the car. ... Well, life is full of trade offs and summer's coming, so maybe I'll just have to switch to cold drinks. Thanks GreenPaxx for this brilliant idea! Addition to previous review: I added one star because I ended up trying the GreenPaxx straws and they don't taste bad like the other silicone products I've tried. I still like my glass straw so I just insert it through the green "stem" portion instead of the one that comes with the straw set. Problem solved. I am not sure why these are titles "spill proof." The caps are NOT at all spill proof. Tested: If you tip the cup on the side it will spill through the hole in the center even with the "patent pending" straws in place. So seems like false or at least rather misleading advertising in that regard. For now I will still stick with an "it's ok" rating since they still have some value in that they fit a fair number of cups and do provide some spill protection in that they will certainly slow a spill down compared to an open container but it would not be long before at least half a cup of juice would be everywhere. The funny part is if you bought a three ring silicone pet food lid and make two cuts crosswise in the center you would have basically made one of these but they are almost about the same price so that is just kind of a funny observation :) Although now I think about if you cut a slighter smaller than exact acrylic straw size hole in the center of one of those lids it would be even more spill proof than these. Hmmmmm......

Update: My family has had these for three years and still use them every day. They have held up well, and look exactly as they did when I purchased them. They work well, and are an indispensable item in our kitchen. I saw this on Shark Tank. They were saying they weren't sure there was a market for it. I thought, "not a market for it? Are you kidding me?" I was wondering how to get one when she said she was selling them on Amazon. I ordered one in the next 5 minutes and got it the next day. It is exactly what I wanted. It fits all the cups in my kitchen including mugs. I have a toddler and am always concerned about him knocking over cups in the living room. Problem solved! I love these lids and have used them every day since I got them - literally!

EDIT: I forgot to update my review. I had been trying to fit the lids on in between the double-wall of the lid rim like some people's reviews said it was supposed to fit. That was impossible. However, when I pulled it tightly over the rim of my glasses and put both walls of the lid on the OUTSIDE of my glass, it fit snugly and was fine. The way it's constructed, it looks wrong this way, but it actually does fit. It holds on really well that way, too, because you have to stretch it tightly to get it to go over your glass rim. ORIGINAL REVIEW (was 2 stars, now 4): I was very excited to get these lids and the straws that go with them, because my golden retriever's tail knocks the kids' cups over on our coffee table all the time. However, despite having about 7 different sizes and styles of cups and glasses, I have not found ANY cup that the lid actually fits well. I used it on a cup that had the closest fit, but as soon as I put the cup down, our dog passed the table and knocked the cup over with his tail, and this "spill proof" cap fell right off, pouring juice everywhere, meaning the lid was completely useless. We have some straight-sided cups that are pretty large, but the cap is too big and doesn't fit those, and we have some fat cups that are wider at the mouth than the base, but it doesn't fit those. I'd like to know what cups and glasses people are using this cap on to make it actually fit and work as promised!

I have included a photo of the bottom of this lid. I purchased this lid for when I want to carry a drink with me in my car similar to the style that fast food restaurants provide at the drive up window. I also ordered the "Silicone Reusable Drinking Straws" by GreenPaxx. In my same purchase I also bought "Zak Designs Hammered High Ball Glasses". These lids fit those cups really well. If you like to use a straw with your drink these work as advertised if you have a cup/glass with the correct size as shown in the description "FROM APPX 2.75" to 3.75" RIM DIAMETER" Do not try to use this lids on a plastic cup that will squeeze easily. You want a rigid glass/plastic. These lids fit the wide mouth Ball mason jars (won't work with standard small mouth mason jars). When I put a drink in a glass with these tops, I don't have to worry about the drink splashing all over my car while driving. The description for these lids clearly says "spill resistant". It is expected that turning the drink over will result in spillage just like when you turn over a drink cup from the fast food restaurants. The big difference is these lids are dishwasher safe (tested) and they stay on the cup really well. The GreenPaxx silicone straws fit these lids well. EDIT* I have used my lids, straws, and glasses together for several months with numerous dishwasher cycles and everything is holding up well.

I am so disappointed with this item. After seeing this product advertised on The View I was so excited to order this product (which was also my first time ordering from this website). It was advertised to fit almost any cup and the main focal point of their advertisement seemed to show how these lids would be a great "fix" for kids to use on their cups so that drinks would not spill. The Cool Paxx lids are so big that they will only fit large cups, how is that appropriate for children? On top of that, the cups that I have tried this lid on has proven that these lids slide off very easily. This was a complete waste of $17 (including s&h) & as a single mom who doesn't "splurge" on things like this I am BEYOND discouraged and disappointed. I wish I could ship it back and receive my money back because these lids are soon to become TRASH! DO NOT waste your money. You can buy a lid AND cup from the dollar store that is cheaper & more efficient than this product.

Love the lids! I searched for silicone straws and was shocked to have found them! And decided to get the lids as well. That was a great decision. Now I carry them with me anywhere I go and if we eat out, I use the lid and the straw for my son instead of the plastic one on cup with juice that they bring. He can drink easier and then of course the non-toxic and reusable aspect! Both products are amazing! You get two lids. And the straws come in a set of four. Easy to clean.

Kann ich nur empfehlen. Passen auf verschiedene Durchmesser von Gläsern etc. Die Becher, die momentan überall zu kaufen sind, haben Metalldeckel, die nach kurzer Zeit zu rosten beginnen. Wenig appetitlich! Zusammen mit den Silikon Strohhalmen optimal!

I bought these caps for when my six year old grandson comes to visit as he has a tall beaker he likes to use. The cap fits the beaker perfectly and is very easy to fit. The cap has three rings that stretch and grip different sized cups or glasses. You can use ordinary drinking straws but if you use the Cool Straws they make for a better seal. If your cup/glass does get knocked over the caps are not 100% leak proof, a little does escape from the top where the straw goes in. I am very happy with my purchase of these caps. I no longer need to worry about beakers of pop being knocked over. My grandson is happy too and has given the cap and straws a thumbs up. The caps and straws aren't just for use with children. I look forward to using them when sat out in the garden in the summer. They will keep the flies and insects out of my drinks.

Ces couvercles sont très pratiques car ils s'adaptent sur différents verres ( diamètre) sans problèmes . La matière est écologique. Ils sont très souples. Et quand la paille n'est pas dedans les couvercles est complètement fermé pour ne pas laisser l'air entrer. Je l'utilise toutes les nuit sur un verre d'eau sur ma table de nuit avec la paille , ainsi pas de risque de renverser quand au milieu de la nuit j'ai besoin de boire une gorgée d'eau. Je les conseille vraiment. Il permet aussi de protéger de l'air mes jus et smoothies frais. Voilà plusieurs semaines que je les utilise tous les jours pour mes grands verres de jus vert ou rouge. Et elle ne se colorent pas. Superbe !
