Performers 1St Choice Vaulting Surcingle Black

It is exactly what I hoped for. Seems to be well made, although we have only used it 10 times. Great entry sircingle. My son who was a silver medal vaulter gives it great reviews.

The surcingle is nice but the girth is trash, the girths stitching is coming apart and is made out of some stiff plastic like material, I tried to contact the seller to let me ship the girth back and get a replacement girth or get a partial refund on the faulty girth and the seller will not work with me at all, they just want me to send the whole surcingle back and give me a refund .. I really like the surcingle and need it for this upcoming week and dont have time to send it back and wait for a refund so I can order another one. I explained that to the seller and they just repeat the same thing over and over again, and refused to let me send just the girth back for a replacement. They should have inspected it and made sure it was in good condition before they sold it and shipped it out. I would not recommend buying this surcingle solely for the faulty girth and poor customer service

All leather, sturdy surcingle; just what I was looking for. Great price also. I bought a different girth for it (slightly stretchy synthetic), but this has worked well for me. You do need to have a pad under it, mainly for the horse's comfort, but also for a bit more safety (no slipping).

Really good value IMO I've had it for about 3 months use it like once every 2 days you have to make some holes for smaller horses but other than that and the fact that the girth doesn't seem comfortable for the horse it's a great product I do some giga fun jump type shit on the horse and this mother trucking thing holds up 9/10 would buy again

We use the vaulting saddle with beginner riders to increase their confidence and allow them the experience of riding bareback. Love that it fits multiple horses.

Had to purchase a separate girth. The one it came with was stiff and unusable. Ill fitting and wide as well. I love my horse and would never make him wear such an uncomfortable device, Got a separate fleece lined on a few weeks later. Just spend more and get the better one. Wish I did.

I like it, and serves it purpose for young children, like 8 and under, but the handles came loose after an 11 year old was up and learning to do vaulting (such as Flag). So I was a bit disappointed that it did not hold up very well after the 3rd use. But I guess you get what you pay for. Good quality surcingles cost several hundred dollars, and this one was just over 100...but I didn't want to buy a real expensive one when it was meant for a lesson program that is just starting out.

My packaged was very damaged and one section of the shipping wrap was worn open and the leather and d ring where rubbed raw. Other then that, very good price.
