Very nice color, but they burned very quickly, and damaged the sockets
I love the look of these on my NB 2 (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005) MX-5 Miata (they do not fit the NB 1 - 1999 & 2000), but they burned out very quickly. This is my second set, and both sets had a bulb burn out in less than 20 hours. The bulb that isn't burned out looks like it's about to. The first set may have been my fault, because even though I made sure not to touch them, I did not use the alcohol wipe when I installed them. I bought a second set, and I wore latex gloves, and I thoroughly wiped both bulbs with the included alcohol wipe. The results were the same with the second set though. I'm very disappointed, because there are not many Yellow H1 bulbs on the market that look like quality items. The stock Miata fog lamps have a very poor focus, so they do not do much to illuminate the road. Because of this, these are mostly just for decoration, and to help you to be seen by other drivers. They do not help you to see any better at night or in the fog, but no bulb could do that in the stock Miata fog lamps. These bulbs are bright enough to use as fog lamps, or auxiliary lamps if your car has better lamps than the Miata does. They are also bright enough that I believe they do enhance visibility. ie. Other drivers can see me better. Again, they are a beautiful color, and I think they make the car look better. The seller offered to replace the first set of bulbs for the cost of shipping, but since it was my fault, I have declined their offer. It does demonstrate that they are a good seller though, so I thought I should add it to my review.

They WERE ok while they worked.
They were ok while they worked. I put them in the fog lights of a W210. I wanted a yellow bulbs because, they're for fog lights. It makes sense to put yellow bulbs. I had them installed for about 1 month and were utilized no more then 15 hours before one stopped working (see below). Color is a decent yellow (think of halogens bulbs, before all of the blue/white bulbs started hitting the market, but with a yellow hue), but far from the look and intensity of HID/LED yellow lights you may see in a Lexus. It may get you the deep yellow color you want if your fog light housing lens was also tinted yellow. Mine are not tinted yellow. One evening, it turn them on and I get a lamp malfunction notification from the car's on-dash screen. After looking into it, I noticed the fuse was blown. Replaced the fuse thinking it was just a fluke, turned on the lights again, and the fuse blown again. After switching the bulbs into the other socket and only having one bulb in each socket, finally discovered that one of the bulbs was defective and was the cause of the issue. Went through 4 fuses (cost was less then $3). Notified the seller, they offered a refund/exchange but I have to send the bulbs back (plus they reimburse me for the cost of shipping it back). At the price point for the bulbs, it's not worth the trouble and my time to send it back and have to wait for them to send another pair. Just refund me or send me a new pair for free without needed me to return it. Good customer service is getting rare these days. 1 Star rating on the product. 2.5 star rating on the seller. They provided a quick response, but not an ideal solution.Unfortunately there aren't too many other options for yellow H1 bulbs. So if you really want these yellow H1 bulbs, I wish you good luck on getting ones that last or won't cause any issues.

They last and they look good but....
Always loved these, they look amazing, they are fairly bright enough...ish, I honestly wouldn't recommend them as headlights, they are good for it but when it rains you will be totally blind. And people always think your headlights are off which is kinda funny. On high beams they are SUPPER bright, I'm sure it's because of the voltage outputs (correct me if I'm wrong) only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they turn orange after a while and it just looks different but nothing too bad. I've had these on another car for around 2 years almost before I changed the headlights and gave the bulbs to a friends and I belive they are still working actually, so I know these will last me a while.

Excellent product
I initially thought about giving this item 5 stars, i then decided on 4 stars- i will add the final star ( or remove a star) depending on how long the bulbs last. this is for my quad H1 headlights setup - two H1 are low beams two H1 are high beams. these really do give the nice yellow output that i wanted for low beams - these are also suitable for fog lights and will ensure youre seem in bad weather.some may think theyre too yellow but i want them yellow- personal preference.only thing is theyre 55W - i thought they were a higher wattage but nonetheless- i'm happy.lets see how long they last in my headlights

Yellow H1 lamps - great for factory fog replacement
Installed in my 2001 Volvo S80. Perfect fit in the stock housing. Light pattern is the same as stock - but Yellow. I do not use them often, but I wanted my factory fog lights to be yellow. Was hoping these would be the same yellow/amber as my LED markers/LED high beam markers/LED indicators - not the case. I do like them as factory replacements.

Burned out after less than 20 hours of use
Very short lifespan yellow bulbs, one burned out after less than 20 hours of use. I even used gloves when putting them into housing to avoid skin contact. The light output was below average in my fog lamp housing with yellow lamin-x coverings. My current sylvania bulbs were a little cheaper and lasted much longer.
