Best Hillsong Live album yet!
I was super pumped to get this album ever since I heard "Man of Sorrows" and "Christ Is Enough". The whole way through listening to this album in it's entirely, I was just in awe and singing along and each song is just so catchy and beautifully written. I have to say this is definitely the best Hillsong Live album to date. The bonus tracks are surprisingly AMAZING, and the videos and extras are a super treat :DStandout tracks: You Never Fail, Christ Is Enough (my fav!), Where The Spirit of the Lord Is, To Be Like You, Man of Sorrows, We Glorify Your Name, You Crown The Year, Anchor, Life You Higher (wow!), Only You (wow!).I can't wait to replay the album over and over and over again lol. I love how I can listen to it in full without skipping a track.Definitely recommend getting this!

Great, but not excellent
Each of the songs had their own flavor, which was respectable! I'd say that the previous albums were more memorable, but each of the songs are well composed. Been keeping it during my drives between home and work, and I like it. Songs like "Closer" and "Man of Sorrows" really resonate with what Christian life is. It's nice to see that Hillsong doesn't stop making new songs!

Rising from the ruins
I waited a couple of years to download this album because I didn't think I would like it. The song clips don't do it justice! When Amazon offered it for $6.99 this month, I decided to buy it since the price was right even if I only liked 1/2 of the songs.I've owned the album for 3 days and am on my 4th listen. Best tracks are Where The Spirit of the Lord Is, Closer and Anchor.

Glorious Ruins Review
Glorious Ruins is the latest album by Hillsong Live. This album is complete with well written songs such as "You never Fail", "Closer" and the title track, "Glorious Ruins" (which is my favorite) and more.I was not disappointed with this album and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Hillsong Live.

Elevator Music
After listening to the album several times I think the words and theology are "right on". My annoyance with it is that many of the songs are produced the same and sound the same. They all have a lot of synthesized organ with missing, tame dynamics and limited instrumental layering. I think it is un-remarkable and the tunes not very creative resulting in music suitable for elevator backgrounds. It has the air of being done by a church committee and not by an artist. I put it on the shelf nex to Zion.

Awesome!
This CD is so good that most of the songs were already being played on Christian radio. But in buying the CD, you always get to hear those songs that have not made it to the radio and are often the best songs. This is one of those CDs. Awesome worship, awesome CD. Worth every penny and more.

Glorious Ruins CD isn't too bad. It's just hard to understand because the band plays so loudly, you can't hear the words they're singing. It would have been really good if they'd balanced it out.

Good Christian music
This is one of those rare albums where there is no "filler" junk. All of it was good and a few selections (in particular, "Man of Sorrows") were excellent! Worth getting the whole album if you are downloading, and not just one song like on most of 'em out there!

The best since Mighty To Save
When I listened to the album Cornerstone, I really liked the atmosphere through all the songs and I noticed how the lyrics were beautiful. However, many tracks were repetitive and it somewhat spoiled the album. Here in Glorious Ruins, not only the sound is amazing, the lyrics are also truly deep and there isn't these mistakes found in Cornerstone.Among all these wonderful 15 tracks, 4 of them really impressed me: Christ Is Enough, Glorious Ruins, To Be Like You and Anchor. But to be honest, all the songs are deeply inspired and interesting for some personal meditation.I'm so happy that Hillsong has gone back to their roots with this album. Nevertheless, I'm slightly disappointed not to see Darlene Zschech or Brooke Fraser (who wrote three songs in that album), it would have been perfect imo. Anyway, well done Hillsong Live! This is the best album since Mighty To Save, definitely.

An amazing album, purchased as going to the Hillsong conference in London in July and looking forward to it, and wanted to learn some of the songs for the three days. Amazing! feel like i have the whole band with me, whether at the gym or in the car!
