Handy accessory for my Rockwell Sonicrafter
I received this item and tried it on an entryway door. It took care of the sanding project in a very short time and the finished product was ready for painting in just a few minutes. will be ordering more as soon as I use these up.

love the hook and loop fastener
The Rockwell Sonicrafter is my fave tool to have for all around project use. I purchased these to re-do my cabinets and these fit great in the corners with the sanding finger pad. They are super easy to change out when you wear through a sheet too.

Be careful using the sanding pad
The sanding sheets are fine, it is the sanding pad on which they fit that is problematic. The pad is a clever idea, making it possible to get into very tight spots but it is very delicate and is damaged very easily.Use with a very light touch and don't expect it to last very long. You might try using it for very short bursts of time, with time in between to cool down to enhance its life expectancy. Also be very careful not to let the vertical sides of the pad rub up against anything, like a wall, during use.

finger sanding sheet
I was pleasantly surprised when I received the Rockwell finger sanding sheet assortment. In the description of the product, I found nothing which told me which grades were included in the assortment. I use Amazon prime so the other brands which described what was in their assortments would charge me almost $5. for shipping a very small package. These are the paper grades included in the Rockwell assortment: #40,#80,#120,#180,and #220. There are 4 of each grade. These are good sanding fingers and this is a good assortment. By the way, when the sanding finger device which holds the paper wears out, which they quickly do, a generic one can be picked up for about half the price as the "brands" at Menard's or Home Depot.

... but the pads that they affix to are a poor design.
The sanding sheet is acceptable but the pads that they affix to are a poor design.

Worked really well
Had no problems with this at all. Only took two sheets to sand down a King size headboard! Very happy with these.

Finger sanding attachment
I bought the finger backing plate and an extra pack of sandpaper pads. It was like the glue that held the cloth material to the back of the sandpaper would melt and reharden in the hook and loop material on the backing plate. The backing plate is now useless after using 5 pieces of sandpaper. It got the job done but seems to be a one project attachment.

these are much much smaller than the pix. needed to sand the bottom of a door but they were small i couldn't hold in place to sand so the sanding was uneven. bought a bigger size and was fine. no clue what i can use these for.
