You are the Best Wife: A True Love Story

Love finds its way!
You Are the Best Wife is a beautiful and heart-wrenching story of two people with completely different ideologies who fall in love, only to have life throw them a curveball. Ajay, an engineering student, believes in living for himself, while Bhavna teaches him the importance of living for others and embracing each moment. Their contrasting perspectives lead to a deep, transformative relationship, but fate has its own plans. This book is a true, inspiring account of the author’s own journey through love, loss, and healing. After his beloved wife, Bhavna, passes away unexpectedly, Ajay is left to grapple with the void she leaves behind. Her last words, “You are the best husband,” become his guiding force, helping him fulfill his promise of love and moving forward. With honesty, humor, and raw emotion, the author takes us through his struggles, the pain of loss, and the lessons he learned along the way.The first half of the book is filled with sweet moments as Ajay and Bhavna’s friendship blooms into love, a love that will undoubtedly resonate with anyone who has experienced the joy of first love. Their journey together has a nostalgic, almost Bollywood-esque charm, with the simplicity and authenticity of their connection being the heart of it all. The author doesn’t shy away from showing the practical side of love—how it’s not just about grand gestures but about the small, everyday things that truly matter. The second half of the book, however, is a heartbreaking turn of events that will pierce your heart. The shift in Ajay’s life after Bhavna’s death is incredibly emotional, and you’ll find yourself unable to hold back tears as you witness his grief and resilience. It’s difficult to imagine how one copes with such a loss, but Ajay’s journey is a testament to the strength of the human spirit. Amidst the sorrow, the book imparts valuable life lessons—about being grateful, living in the moment, loving deeply, and finding reasons to laugh even in the face of adversity. You Are the Best Wife is a poignant, unforgettable read that will tug at your heartstrings, and it reignited my love for romance stories. The author’s courage and honesty in sharing his personal story make this book even more powerful and relatable. It’s a book that stays with you long after you’ve finished reading it.

a true love and author made his wife immortal through this book....
This book will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. You'll find yourself laughing at many things during the first half of the book and you won't stop crying reading the second half. The author has written so beautifully and amazingly that you'll feel connected with whatever he narrates, would it be the plans he's making in college or the struggle he's facing in order to make a future for himself. You'll feel as if you are also reliving bits and pieces of your life.Apart from the amazing story line, the book teaches you a lot. From never surrendering attitude to enjoying the quality and not quantity of life, from always having your loved ones back to enjoying each and every moment in life. This book will definitely leave an impression on your life. Also, the author beautifully narrates one of the biggest taboos that exists in our Indian society ; the caste system. How simply the author describes that love just happens, when you find the right person you just want to spend the whole life together with the qualities of the person not with their caste.Whats really appreciating is the caring nature of Bhavna and what a gem of a person she was, who always tries to find happiness in the little of things and wants to live every moment of her life. She believes in her love and loves him a lot and how she made Ajay understand important things in the simplest ways. Her happy-go-lucky attitude is what makes you wanna enjoy your life to the fullest and feel content in whatever life gives you. Also, if anybody of you have faced any situation similar to the one described in the book related to the hospital scenario, you'll definitely feel what Ajay was going through at that time. But if you haven't, it still touches you.I personally felt every emotion the author went through in the book and had an amazing experience after finishing the book. I wasn't able to get to my normal self because I felt so connected to everything.P.S.- If you are an extremely emotional person, I would suggest you to leave the book where the author tells you to and don't move forward.
