The Jungle Moc Touch Breeze is a minimal after-sport moc. It features a molded nylon arch shank and M Select FRESH to naturally prevent odor before it starts for fresh smelling feet. The Merrell air cushion in the heel absorbs shock and adds stability. The compression molded EVA footframe provides cushioning. M Select grip tunes each outsole with durable traction that grips when and where you need it.

Very Comfortable
I have 9 pairs of Merrel shoes. I have a wide foot and Merrel shoes out of the box have fit my feet perfectly. That is why I havepurchased 9 different pair of Merrel shoes. The Jungle Moc is a very light weight shoe and the mesh upper allows my feet to be cool.

First, DEFINITELY NOT LAST, "jungle moc". Excellent.
I've owned Merrell's before, but this is my first "jungle moc"..... and UNLIKELY to be my last.I chose these to be my "casual summer house-town slippers", and so far, they are more comfortable (and I can wear them longer) than any other pair I've selected. Normally, even with my most comfy shoes of this type, I end up with some discomfort around my heel or ankle by mid-day-- but not so in these. They fit my feet (which are narrow in the heel, but wide-ish in the toe, usually a M width does the trick for me) pretty well-- I suspect that the "narrowness" some other reviewers have mentioned actually works for my feet. Arch support in these is VERY mild, but I don't really require that, so for me, they are ok in that respect. One of the big factors for me, besides comfort, in these shoes, is the temperature-- COOL, VERY COOL. I normally wear socks, even on the warmest days, and in my typical leather/suede slip ons, my feet usually sweat and become uncomfortably warm-- not so in these. While the mesh upper doesn't quite let the wind through (there's a backing that doesn't allow socks to show through), it is MUCH cooler than most shoes of this type I wear-- and so far, I have worn them around the yard on several near-100-degree days, with no "hot feet".The look is about what I expected from the pics-- perhaps a bit clunkier looking than I might ultimately desire, but no biggie. I have found, that in about a week's worth of daily wear, I am beginning to see some "creases" on the mesh material, especially around the flex points that are created while entering and walking in the shoe. Since it is mesh, the creases aren't really set in (yet), but that's certainly a possibility over time.Overall (as of this moment), I stick with my five-star rating. This doesn't represent "perfection" to me, as I believe I have really owned one or two "perfect" pairs of shoes in my forty-some years on this earth (visiting)-- however, it DOES represent value for the money, and overall, how well I feel these shoes will serve the need for which I purchased them over time. Although they are not "perfect", I have no problem giving the "I love them" rating. Finally, the experience of the Merrell Jungle Moc, primarily the sole and overall feel/fit, is a BIG winner for me. These will NOT be the last pair I purchase-- in fact, I will likely search for a different version of the shoe for my autumn/winter seasonal needs.

Wow!
The best slip-ons I've ever owned. I wear size 13 and they fit perfectly. Very light, super comfortable and built to last. They even keep my feet warm on winter days! Another high quality Merrell product. You can't go wrong with these shoes.

Shoes with sound
Yes, they are nice shoes and they do fit as they should. With all this said be advised that after they are broken in they creak as you walk. Currently not real bad but in a quiet area they sound quite loud. Just something to be aware of. If not for the creaking noise they would rate a 5 but the sound is annoying.

Jungle Moc Touch Breeze compare to Skechers Equalizer
Overall, Merrell Jungle Moc Touch Breeze Slip-Ons are very well made. I like these better than the Skechers Sport Men's Equalizer Persistent Fashion Sneaker (another mesh slip-on). The fit is on the smaller range (I wear a 8.5 Skechers and 9 Brooks, and I wear 9 for these). The sole is a firmer sole compare to the memory foam Skechers Equalizer, but it is still comfortable especially if you plan on standing most of the time. It doesn't trap heat or moisture like the memory foam sole in the Equalizer, which helps keep your feet comfortable for longer periods. The one thing I don't like about it is that the word "Breeze" in the name and the mesh exterior suggests breathability, but it isn't as breathable as it suggests. The mesh exterior is lined with another layer on the underside that isn't mesh, which defeats the purpose. Skechers does the same thing in their Equalizer. If you take a pair of running shoe, and look inside, the mesh allows light to pass through with ease, these don't. These are probably slightly more breathable than leather dress shoes, but not as much as your typical running shoes. At least for me, I am still looking for the ideal solid black slip-on running shoes that I can wear in an office environment.

Awesome Shoe!
Good traction - even on ice. Fits true to size - even size 14. Rubber tipped front doesn't stick out funny (like some of the Keen shoes do), blends in well with the shoe and is great for running into things, keeping snow or mud off shoe, etc.... Shoe is same color everywhere - in black it is very slimming. Goes great with jeans, workout shorts and sweats. Breeze fabric keeps hot feet from getting too hot. Slips on easily (does take a couple days to loosen up the slip on to the point you don't have to use the pull tab on the back unless wearing really thick socks. Thanks Merrell!

Shades of Grey
I have never purchased Merrell shoes in the past. I must say, they are the most comfortable casual shoes I have ever owned. My only complaint -- the "charcoal grey" is not charcoal grey... they are more like a "cool grey." There is a hint of blue in the grey which, unfortunately, makes it more difficult to coordinate them with whatever else I happen to be wearing. (If you want to see what "cool grey" looks like, search for "shades of grey" on that popular online encyclopedia that I guess I cannot mention by name here.) Anyway, the shoes do not look good, for example, when wearing blue jeans and any of the various grey or black shirts I own. Too bad. Alas, I must take away a stay because there truly appears to be at least 50 shades of grey in this world... likely 45 too many!!!
