Tango (Por Una Cabeza): Violin with Piano Reduction (John Williams Signature Editions)

Great piece! Only issue (and this is why I give it a 4 and not a 5 star review) was when it arrived it was missing the violin part. The company sent me a new one and no problems. Very prompt in delivery and return was super easy. I'm very happy with this product and have enjoyed playing it :)

This is a well-known tango written by Carlos Gardel, played by Itzhak Perlman, and arranged by John Williams. You can find Itzhak Perlman playing this piece on YouTube. This book contains two parts: 1) an 8 page long version and 2) a 2 page shorter version of the same song. This music is not for beginner violinist. It is even a challenge for my violin instructor. However, I would recommend it to any violinist at any level. It will give you a goal to work for.

John Williams, it can't get any better folks, wow, this is so beautiful , Tango (Por Una Cabeza) Violin and Piano. It'll take me a while to learn this, but well worth it. John Williams is the greatest!

This is a great piece of music, just know that it is the full orchestral score, not just the solo for violin. It is advanced and very challenging, but a beautiful piece of music.

This is the legit version of Por Una Cabeza, played by Itzhak Perlman. I highly recommend this as it is a great piece, just type it in on youtube and you should be able to find this version.

It's complicated pieces but early days, with practice will hopefully enjoy it.

Ich studiere Musik mit dem Hauptfach Geige. Die Noten Por Una Cabezza habe ich mir gekauft, nachdem ich das Stück in Schindlers Liste entdeckt hatte (Anfangsszene im Restaurant)Das Stück ist fantastisch arrangiert und klingt wirklich gut.Auf Grund der Doppelgriffpassagen jedoch nichts für Anfänger.Dennoch, wer sich ein wenig damit beschäftigt hat ein tolles Stück Unterhaltungsmusik im Repertoire.

La parte è fedele all'esecuzione di Perlman nella versione per lui creata da John Williams per il CD "Cinema Serenade".Consigliatissima.
