This is all I'll ever use for baitcasters.
The best braid I've ever used. I love this stuff and have bought tons of it. I use it on most of my baitcasters and even sometimes put it on my saltwater setups. It's really strong and actually is underrated for the weight spec of the line.

High quality and smooth
Well, it's Daiwa. Like all of their products, this line is very, very nice. Strong, smooth casting, and durable. I have one that was spooled 4 years ago and I still use it, since it doesn't show any weaknesses yet (I tested it by catching some big carps and it was just as strong as on the day I bought it).It will show slight discoloration after some time. But not too much and it doesn't affect anything. I have four of these stored, just cannot justify replacing the old ones, since they still perform very strongly.Highly recommended.

Daiwa j- braid x8
I've been using the Daiwa J-Braid X8 fishing line for a few months now, and I'm thoroughly impressed! As an avid bass fisherman, I need a line that can handle the demands of heavy lures and strong fish. The J-Braid X8 delivers. The line's 8-strand braid construction provides incredible strength and sensitivity, allowing me to feel even the lightest bites. The smooth, round profile casts like a dream, and l've noticed a significant increase in my casting distance.I've used the line in both freshwater and saltwater environments, and it's performed flawlessly. The PE fibers are incredibly resistant to abrasion, and I've had no issues with line damage or breakage.

Best braid on the market
I've been fishing for nearly 40 years. I've been using braid for the last 25 years. Ice always used power pro. To me it was the best around, the color just faded VERY quickly (which didnt really bpther me that much). Then a friend told me about this braid. Wow, is it ever superior in every way! It's slightly more abrasion resistant than PP, holds color way better than PP, casts a friggin MILE (seriously, the casting distance with this is jaw dropping), and it's way better looking than the standard PP dark green. If you're using anything else, do you're self a favor and make the switch Daiwa J-Braid Grand x8; trust me!
