Royal Canin Pug Adult Dry Dog Food, Meat Flavor, 3 Kg,Pack of 1

We used to feed our dog "Royal Canin Mini Adult" and she's now 17 years old, we changed her onto the "next stage" which is the Adult +8. We don't give her just dry food, we mix it in with some wet food.

On this price I can say this Royal Canal’s treat is very good for my pug Jerry. I usually get it from nearest pest shop, with this deal I can say the best to buy from Amazon. Recommended

I normally purchase it from the pet store, this time I was lazy I decided to order online. When I saw “Adult Pug” food 3 Kilos, I thought it was a little odd cause I remember clearly the pet food store guy telling me that “Adult Pug” food comes only in 1.5 kilo bag. I decided to order anyway. When the package arrived I noticed right away that the size of the kibble was smaller than the one I get from the store and it also didn’t smell as strong or fresh. It didn’t make sense to me why the kibble size would be different if it is the same food (both Adult Pug) from the same company. So I compared the two package, the writings, description, expiration date, everything to make sure it was legitimate and it appeared to be alright so I started feeding my dog. Few days into feeding my dog I decided to empty out the contents from the bag into a container and that’s when I noticed that at the bottom there were worms and small insects which were still alive. The package isn’t expiring until 15/1/21 so either this isn’t a genuine product or it wasn’t stored properly as it should in inventory and got damaged but one thing is for sure, this food isn’t fit to feed my dog and I’m never ordering this online. God knows what would have happened if I keep feeding this to my dog and never found out. Too bad I threw away the box and receipts can’t return it now.

This product is a really good one. My pooch loves it. The only problem that I faced was with respect to the promotional offer (feeding bowl) which was missing in the parcel. The packet mentioned that there was a promotional offer but I never received it. I did bring it before Amazon customer care and they told me that the seller would call. Unfortunately, I never received any call.
