Still going strong 6 months later
Still going strong after 6 months! We discovered that our down pipe had a crack under the footpath which explained the damp problem in our house, we had already arranged for the path to be replaced this year so didn’t want to have it dug up prior to the scheduled replacement. I bought this in the hope I could direct the water away from the house and onto the garden. It’s working brilliantly and is still in place over 6 months later, we wheel the bin over it weekly and it hasn’t torn. This is only attached at the bottom of the down pipe just prior to it going subterranean so doesn’t flap about in the wind, and it’s now looking quite green on the inside. But as for funnelling the rain water away, it’s brilliant.

Does what it says on the tin
Worked well when we were having building work.Prevented any issues with water damage to the brickwork (moss or damp).Easy to fit with cable ties.Worked well fir the 5 winter months we were using it (then removed at the end of works).Would recommend.

We ordered early as we were worried about timelines and were so glad we did
We needed temporary downpipe tubes for the front of our house while it was rendered and the company did not supply it. Builders merchants usually supply this in 500m roll so it was a relief to find different pack sizes on Amazon which were suitable for an individual householder's requirements. We ordered early as we were worried about timelines and were so glad we did. Recent storm weather took out one of our drainpipes before rendering was planned and we were able to use the pack to stop flooding into our garage. 20m was enough for the front of our 4 bed detached house but I would recommend buying 30m so you don't scrimp on the lengths of each downpipe. We did the first length too short and therefore wasted a cable tie. A couple more cable ties in the pack would be helpful.

Zip ties don't hold plastic onto drainpipe
Probably me but I couldn't get the plastic to stay wrapped around the outlet (zip ties just slide off). Duck tape may have worked but I wanted temporary downpipe onto new guttering and outlet so did not want to use anything that would mark new guttering.
