Yowza !
I saw this knife and fell in love with the geometry off the bat. A little hesitant to buy one due to the origin of some parts. Now I own a few knives being someone of a knife collector and by a few I mean I have a catalog system and a closet in my house dedicated to storage of these knives so only a few is somewhat of an understatement. So I guess you could call me a collector and most of what I have would be Benchmade, Zero Zolerance ,Spyderco, American-made Kershaw, American-made Ontario's and Gerber's. Several Taiwan knives like cold steel, pretty much everything they make because who can possibly argue the strength integrity of the Triad lock. You get the gist. Now I know this knife is made of parts from all over but I read that they are assembled and fitted here in the states so I guess that's good. Not everything that comes out of China is junk but you are taking a risk that it will be junk and spending $100 or more is a risk you take if you're curious. So all you knife collectors out there know exactly what I'm talking about. SO lets get down to the important stuff about this knife. I bought one. I got it in the mail and brought it in the house and opened it up. I looked at the knife and their first impression was that it was definitely Hefty built. The lock up was good with no movement. The liner material is definitely a steal. I used the magnet test LOL. Blade material is D2 and the grind is symmetrical and spot on. The fit and finish of the liners and G10 scales are spot-on. The bearing system allows The Flipper to truly function like a flipper should. Effortless to open. The spring tension of the liner lock is very good and the stop pin that the blade mates with when the knife is open in the lock is fully engaged is a very hard material. What I mean is I snapped this knife open with Brute Force over 100 times and that pin did not change shape in any way. The liner lock engaged in the same spot on the Locking surface of the blade tang or breaking surface. The liner lock does not scar or scuf either. There is no side to side wobble nor is there any up and down movement when the blade is open. When the blade is closed the detent hold it in place nicely. Everything about this knife says it should be more than what I paid. In fact if I knew nothing about the knife and you handed it to me I would think 200 maybe 250 dollars all day. So if you're thinking about buying one of these knives do not hesitate. I am quite impressed with the quality build fit and finish and most importantly function of this knife. In fact I have another on its way.Part 2.... knife has been put through hell and back and the blade is still beautiful and lock up remains solid. Just a great knife up for most reasonable tasks you would use a folder for. And then some...

Amazing bang for the buck.
I want sure about spending $80.00 on a knife since I've had such good luck with Eafengrows, Ganzos and other sub $30.00 knives on Amazon. The Proelia is in another league. Packaging is top notch. Accessories go above and beyond: 1. Sheath. Excellent quality and will get used. 2. 2 extra belt clips, a right and left with extra screw. 3. Parts bag: more screws and and extra pivot assembly...really! 4. Tool too service the knife. No knife $5.00-$500.00 I own came with half this many goodies. The blade grind is beautiful.I have 2 very minor niggles: 1. Wish there was jimping ir texture on the flipper..or the flipper be about a mm bigger. 2. The jimping on the handle is great...for holding, but chews up your finger after flipping it 50 or 60 times....which you will do because it's so damn smooth to flip.I like it so much I just bought the TX020 also.

Impressive fit and finish.
I am changing my previous poor review. I decided to roll the dice and take a chance on another one of these knives. I am glad that I did. The fit and finish of this knife was the exact opposite of the first one I received. I would put it on par with the absolute best examples of Benchmade and Spyderco. The detent was great for such a large, heavy blade. This is an absolute TANK of a folder. The lock up is perfect, and there is no sign of movement of the blade in any direction when open. The handle is extremely comfortable in a variety of grips. This knife has the smoothest action of any flipper that I have encountered. In short, this is a lot of knife for the price. I will probably get another model over the next few weeks.

This knife is awesome sharp D2
Workhorse, This knife is awesome sharp D2. It's beefy if you're looking for a slim profile than this is not the knife for you. But, if you want a blade that will cover every single practical use you could expect from a flipper , this is it! Smooth as butter ball bearing flipper. Thumb studs on both side but the flipper on blade or just a light flick of the wrist is all you need. I cut through a 4 inch thick phone book with this knife with one push on the corner of the book . My buddy's eyes about popped out of his head. I don't know how hard it will be to put a new edge on when or if it dulls because D2 is a very hard steel! But I can't say enough about my being pleased with my purchase. Got a real good price using the options Amazon gives you to find the best price on their products by giving different dealer options. I've seen this knife selling from 98.00 to 150.00 and more! Got mine for the lower price and no shipping charge.I will be getting another if it goes through the paces I plan on putting it through to come. I just got it a couple weeks back or so and have not given it my full spectrum of uses yet. But for now, it's one of my gems and I put it up there with some of my big dollar knives. At least it's put together in the United States. Now to just get all the materials from here too would really top off the cake!

Great blade.
I first discovered this knife after watching an online review. The reviewer sung it's praises and so I decided to give it a try. I have to say it lived up to the hype, Love the weight and feel of it. Although it's not an assisted open it deploys as if it were. Very fast and smooth. Razor sharp and the sheath is built tough. It's quickly become my new E.D.C.

I received mine in the same week as someone who posted a 1 star review so I feel the need to clarify a few things. Detent bearing was there, blade is centered and no notable defects. He must have got a lemon and I can empathize with the disappointment. After a few days I'm getting some side to side blade play but it's nothing that can't be fixed with a star wrench and some thread lock. The only design issue that I'm not too thrilled about is the gimping on the handle on both sides of the flipper should be rounded as the rough edges can make your finger sore after playing with it for too long. All in all I feel this is a great knife to add to my collection and it's a great bargain here since it goes for $150 on some popular knife websites.
