1 x 100 Chinese Red Envelopes

Overall I'm pleased w/ these Chinese New Year/lucky money envelopes. You can't beat the more authentic quality of ones found in various Chinatown stores, but these certainly will do if you need lots of them and aren't too particular about the thickness of them. The colors are very vibrant and eye-catching. Very well priced too.

The envelopes I received have a slightly different design - the zodiac animals in a circle, with a pink background inside the circle. The gold accents on some of the animals are too bold, which makes it hard to see all the color, but it is typical of most red envelopes. The envelopes are smooth - not the thick texture that you get with more expensive envelopes, but they are sturdy (I've had other envelopes where the glue didn't even hold the seams together) and accomplish their job. I ordered these envelopes on a Tuesday, and they arrived on Friday - very prompt shipping. Overall, a good purchase that will hopefully last me a couple of years!

I needed exactly 100 Red Envelopes for an event. They arrived quickly and were exactly as stated. Beautiful!

Good: I received two packs of 50 envelopes, for the correct total of 100. The printing on every envelope is as shown in the product description here, with the Chinese zodiac symbology on a pink wheel, over a table with flowers and a chariot, all over a yellow background. A little C cut is made for tucking in the top flap, holding it closed.Bad: These envelopes are not 4.75" X 3.25" as stated. They are in fact 4.125" x 2.75". They are also extremely thin, so they will barely hold a few folded bills or a plastic gift card (iTunes, Amazon, restaurant, etc.) before tearing. "Good luck" indeed. If you can find these locally, I'd try before buying. There is not $8 worth of printed paper here. But in this case, online convenience wins.

Nice envelopes but the flap won't stay closed and often spills out the contents.

Items purchased in large quantities for a school. All appear to be in good shape. Each bag contained 20 red envelopes, but could be off by +/-1 once in a while. Some are self-sealed, which is nice. But most have the "tug-under" type flap that was a pain to try to fold and close when you have to do 400 of them. But good deal when you have to buy large quantities. Fast shipping too.

I'm a teacher and I wanted to give something to my students to help them learn and understand Lunar New Years traditions. Additionally, I have a young daughter and I want her to have the same experiences I had growing up with a Chinese dad and grandparents. These Envelopes were beautiful and my students and daughter loved them. It was so great to see their eyes light up.

4 inches by 2.75 inches. Has sticky adhesive that you can wet and seal the envelop. Item exactly shown in picture. Delivery was prompt. Nice quality, quite small, but excellent for price.

Fast delivery and beautiful vibrant product. Ordered from 3 different companies in search of Chinese Red Envelopes, this was the only company to arrive. Third time's the charm. (sorry for the confusion)
