AudioQuestTower 3.5 mm Jack to 3.5 mm Jack (J2J) – 1 m Cable

I wanted a longer jumper cable and decided to get this to keep my phone in a different pocket from my Little Bear B4x amp. In using this in the place of my stock cable between the amp and my headphones I feel I have gotten a clearer signal that seems to have better grounding. I bought this for $18 so I feel I got a deal for the sound quality and I had a purpose for this cable other than just using it for my headphones. For bridging two devices I would say your mileage may vary. The headphones I use are variably resistive depending on the signal and I feel that makes them prone to be sensitive to how they are grounded. This achieves better grounding I think and therefore I get clearer lower frequencies and I feel the headphones feel more responsive by a super tiny bit. If you're going from a source to an amp with this or connecting between a preamp and a DAC you wouldn't notice anything I don't think versus a different cable.

I just got it today. Surprised even before break in it made a huge difference in my case, replacing the stock cable to my Thinksound On1 headphones. Everything improved..."allowing" everything to come through....better clarity, imaging, quickness, bass, and sound stage. All for 25 bucks. Inferior cables "hold back" the true potential of my source ( Iphone-audioquest jitterbug-dragonfly) and snuff out true potential before the speaker (headphone).

Ordered this due to a user review that also has the Oppo PM-3 headphones. The plug is to wide and doesn't seat completely in the recessed jack in the cup. A slight head movement disconnects the plug. The cable is so stiff, it can put enough pressure on the plug to keep it in the jack. I would only use this for a stationary piece of equipment.

Great value and makes a difference in sound quality. A must have if connecting Audioquest’s Dragonfly Cobalt from Aux output of car to smart phone (requires appropriate adapter cable for Apple or Android)

Wow, I love the clarity. Bought this somewhat on a lark, very skeptical I would hear a difference. It's probably easier to say I don't hear anything but music, and that is a good thing. I thought It was hearing less bass than with the stock cable, but I think I am just hearing more across the whole range. Using (not as intended) as a headphone cable for my NAD Viso HP50

Ordered this to replace the stock cable on Phillips headphones, but had to return because it's too short. This would only work for headphones connected to a player that you keep in your shirt pocket. The mistake was mine, but the rating is for not being able to notice any difference between this expensive little cable and the stock cable. It's also a bit thick and inflexible for a headphone cable.

It's a well made, decent sounding cable. I had downgraded from cinnamon to tower because my system sounds too bright with cinnamon, and this one balances things out.

Superbe câble, celui-ci de par sa qualité à permis de résoudre de vilain bruit type plop et autre du à un câble bon marché dont nos tiroirs déborde.Celui ci est souple, mais je n'irais pas l'enrouler brutalement pour le glisser au fond de ma poche en mode nomade. Je pense que celui-ci est plutôt réservé à une installation fixe ( Hifi ou Audiophile )Pour ma part je l'ai associé a mon Surface Pro avec un amplis numérique S.M.S.L Q5.Ravi et je le recommande.

Das Kabel macht nicht nur optisch und haptisch einen sehr guten Eindruck, es ist auch klanglich sehr hochwertig.Im Vergleich zu meinem Oehlbach Kabel (ähnlicher Preis) war der Unterschied schon deutlich. Vor allem das Rauschen wurde deutlich verringert.
