I appreciate that this doesn't have the fake chemical taste of "butter" that the artificial flavors offer. That said, its butter flavor is not very noticable over the salt. I guess you really can't duplicate real warm melted butter. Cute shaker, but there's no way to cover the shaker holes. Although, most salt shakers don't close so I'm not certain why that bothered me on this. I just put it in a different closeable container. I mostly bought it for the extra fine salt. I use it in sauces and sandwiches because it melts faster and isn't so grainy.
