Naughty Mauve is perfect! First, PLEASE READ DIRECTIONS in tiny print on the tube. You twist until some color is seen on the foam applicator. The first use requires more twisting, until you think it's empty and what did I buy... THEN the color comes and application is so easy and comfortable. Like a true pillow. That color stays put! Even after eating and drinking, the stain is subtle enough that my own pale lips stay in the background. This is so much more than I thought it would be when I took the chance to order it. It's sold out now... gee wonder why? ITS GREAT STUFF! The tube seems to last long. But not forever. I see this again, I might have to bulk buy! Good stuff!! Try it.

I like to buy lip stain then wear a very light slick/moisturizing wet look like Nivea. I used to buy cover girl lip stain or elf lip stain and that worked amazing and lasted forever to actually stain your lips before putting on the Nivea moisturizing over the lip stain. I took a chance on this hoping it would stain my lips even a little but this really does not. It is a little wet feeling when you put it on but it dries out quickly and the color does not stain your lips. I am going to go back to searching for the cover girl or elf lip stain again as this does not stain your lips like I want it to. Also the number of times you have to twist the top in order for the sponge to get moist enough to apply enough color...I feel this is probably not going to last very long. It's not like the cover girl or elf lip stains where they're actually more like a wet eyeliner pen where the tip is pointed and you can literally draw it on almost like liner at the very edges of your lips. This does not work like that it's a sponge you have to push against your lips to get the color to come out of this sponge. For me this just doesn't work. As far as color, the color is lighter than what the container shows.

These made me soooo mad that I had to sit down and write a review immediately. I watched a Y-Tube video demo and thought they looked good so took a risk and ordered the three colors that I liked best. What. A. Mistake. These are not lipstick or tint or even balm. They are VASELINE WITH PIGMENT ADDED. Nothing more. They do not go on smoothly. No matter how many times you drag across you cannot achieve any level of coverage. My photo swatches are me dragging the things over my arm 100 times to try and get any coverage. As you can see they just will not go on smoothly or with ANY level of coverage. And don't try to team them with another lipstick or liner. They drag that into a streaky mess too! I just could not find a way to make these work at all with any liner or combination of lipstick. They are so bad that I am returning all three and demanding full refunds. They do not provide any level of "cushion." Just your lips drying out under a thin streaky layer of vaseline as if you'd dipped your finger into the jar and applied a messy oil slick devoid of color. No comfort, no color, no staying power. Wearing it, your lips become dry and uncomfortable and the formula begins to separate and migrate almost immediately. They are not buildable. The more you apply the worse it looks. Absolutely no stain or longevity. This is by far the worst lip product I have ever tried. Wow Revlon. Epic. Fail.

I’ve had horribly chapped lips for as long as I can recall.Lipsticks either aggravate their case, give me the “raspberries lips” or faint right away.I’ve looooved this one since the first one I bought years ago: once the ink is out and spread onto the soft tip, the application is the smoothest, silkiest feeling I’ve ever experienced. The color is vibrant and never overlays and gives that pasty look. You can either go with one coat and have it look subtle, or can apply multiple times and have it look like an actual lipstick.The best part: either you eat, drink and live your life mindlessly, it stays throughout the day and never looks like you need to reapply a layer on the inner lip part. It simply gradually fades away, or can be complimented by a transparent gloss.Once off, my lips feel soft and not stressed.It’s as easy to apply as to remove.I take it everywhere, because it’s compact, adjustable and actually a pleasure to use.Have been buying it for years and will continue doing so!Little tip: make sure to put the cap back firmly, they tend to disappear…

I love this. It’s a true brown which I was looking for. Most lip tints come off reddish once applied on black American skin. This actually looks brown and gives some moisture as well. I also like the smell.
