Extinguisher Deer Call - All-in-one Deer Calling System - Pink

I had little faith in deer calls and grunt tubes. Previous experience with grunt tubes proved ineffective. Deer in the past would pass by like they cared less, it was like they didn't even hear it and totally ignored or at best would look my direction and then keep going about doing whatever they were originally doing.This year a friend told me about the Illusion deer call, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I didn't get it until later in the archery season and it was actually the last day before I got to try it out. Now granted it was the rut, but it was the most exciting hunt I ever had!! First thing in the morning, 8:00 a little spike buck was passing through about 70-80 yds out. So I thought what the heck....I'll try this new call out on em. I couldn't believe it....it worked! Now don't get me wrong, he didn't come bustin in like some monster buck on steroids, he took his time, but he definitely changed his course when he heard the Illusion call. He actually came in and was directly under my stand and was sniffing at my Lone Wolf climbing sticks....it was awesome!! (I wasn't using any deer lure either, never had much success with it) But eventually he left and continued on his original course. About an hour later I saw another buck about same distance as when I saw the spike. So I hit the Illusion deer call, sure enough it turned him my direction. Again he didn't come bustin in but definitely it got his attention. Now I didn't notice at first but there was a doe that popped out from behind some brush that was in between me and the buck, but both slowly worked their way in towards me. At one point they were within 10 yds of my tree! Truly exciting! While trying to maneuver to make a shot on the buck the doe picked up on some movement, it made her nervous and I thought she'd blow the whistle any time. I moved as slowly as I could trying not to spook her any more, and while that was going on, two smaller bucks came in behind me. Talk about heart pounding, mine was going a hundred mile a minute. Well, I was able toget in position to make a successful shot on the big buck. (180-190lb 7pt heavy mass, not a record book but a very nice buck for the area I hunt in) But what an exciting morning on the closing day of archery season!! I'll never forget it!! Can't wait till next year to try out the Illusion deer call again.

The Extinguisher is very easy to change from one call to another. The instructional video was very helpful, although I need more practice. I'm very pleased with the product.

It sounds good but have not had the real opportunity with real action on a hunt as of this date

It has a nice feel to it and isn't bulky like some similar items.

Hunting up here in the north east is a lot different than hunting out west. Up here a deer can be 20 yards from you and you don't see it. This call is. Easy to use and quick.

Haven't used it on a deer yet, having an off season! Call sounds great an super easy to adjust the tones! Hoping it will help me in harvesting a nice deer or two!

I love everything about this call. The sound & the ease of switching from doe to buck is fantastic. But I am not giving 5 star because my call keeps sticking & I have to move the slide up and down a few times before it will work.
