Secret Weapon; different from menthol patches
These are great, and stash anywhere(book, glove box, gym bag etc.). Active ingredient is capsicum like in pepper spray. The burn distracts nerve endings from pain, and increases circulation to the area (so can help heal, not just for pain). Personally; i've worn 1 several days, work/sweat or shower can "re-ignite" the patch. -exGymnast + 20 years climbing trees

Best Ever
I have tried all the heating patches that are in the drugstores, and I saw Salonpas advertised on TV. The price in the drugstore is quite expensive, and I purchased one. It worked perfectly. My back did not ache when I shopped, did the wash, ran the sweeper, etc. Without the patch I could only shop by phone, do one load of wash a day, and not run the sweeper at all. Caution: Use as directed - no more than eight hours for each patch as they get very hot. My daughter, who also has a bad back tried one and it felt so good, she left it on for ten hours. She ended up with a blister from the heat. She never did read instructions.
