Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Loose Powder, Natural Beige, 0.49 Ounce

I love this Physician's Formula Mineral Powder. People often tell me I look young for my age, but I swear it is because this product does such a good job of smoothing out my skin tone. I typically just wear this with sunscreen underneath or a light moisturizer. I do not use foundation. This mineral powder is great for someone like me in their mid 30s (or any age, really) because it is a thin powder, but it really does cover up any discolorations and does not cake into wrinkles or creases. I have been using this stuff for YEARS and decided to purchase it on Amazon because it is more affordable than at drugstores. This is the BEST quality drugstore type face powder you will find - HANDS DOWN - over any other like Cover Girl, Revlon, Loreal and any other drugstore makeup out there.Even better - it is all natural, environmentally friendly, and they do not test on animals.I sometimes use Physician's Formula Bronzer and it is also of really high quality. I don't particularly prefer their mascara, though.I use Buff Beige color. I am of a light to medium skin tone. My skin is not quite "olive" and it is also not "fair". It is in between. I have natural age spots where my skin has some dark spots and this really helps to give me an even skin tone.As long as they sell this product, I will be buying it!! I discovered mineral powder at a farmer's market in my little town about 12 years ago. I let the lady talk me into putting it on my face in spite of my reluctance. I was amazed at the coverage from a powder foundation. And I could see how well it covered in the sun outdoors where she applied it. But the biggest test would be whether or not it would break my face out since I have had a lifelong problem with any type of foundation on my skin....even now at 47 years old. I bought the powder from her for several years and then later heard about physicians formula mineral powder. So I decided to give it a try. And it gave me the same beautiful coverage AND didn't break my face out. Recently, Walmart stopped carrying the product so I switched over to a liquid foundation for acne prone skin and I started having breakouts again...at 47! So I had to start looking again and I found it on amazon. I hope I never lose this product. It is the only thing that works and I just love the coverage. No shine. Doesn't fade or come off over the course of the day. So happy. I need to just buy a life time supply of it in case it does go away.

Great powder with great coverage. I wear over my liquid makeup. I do NOT get caking at all. When I first apply, it seems like it will cake.......give it 5 minutes to set and there is no caking.Translucent light is my winter color. I am not "ivory" pale but the next level pale in the winter. In summer I am two or three shades darker because I wear a light Jergen's face tanner (love). This summer I used buff and it was a bit too light for me. I'm ordering the next darkest today- think it's sand.As far as the packaging, you are supposed to remove the plastic cover once you receive the powder. Then I turn it upside-down, shake some powder into the lid, and open it upside-down. I then dip my own kabuki brush into the lid for my powder. So I actually love this packaging!!!!!Other reviewers are correct about the included brush- its terrible and I just pitch it.There is a lot of powder in here and it lasts forever. I really use a lot of it compared to most too.

This was the perfect inexpensive powder to take on my Thailand honeymoon! Gave just the right amount of coverage when I was wearing foundation and even when I only had moisturizer on but needed to balance out my skin tone. As other reviewers mentioned, the packaging is weird but I knew that going in and despite it being weird, it didn’t give me any issues throughout my 3 week trip. I even used the little brush that came with it on a few occasions and it was fine in a pinch but I recommend getting a better brush for daily use. I will purchase again once I use this one!

I must say that I really like this powder. I don't usually smack on a full face of heavy makeup and I hate using any kind of liquid foundation. From day to day, I use around 4 makeup products just to keep myself looking presentable and awake. I decided to switch to a different powder to keep the oiliness of my face at bay.Powder:- I got this powder in the shade 'Natural Beige' and it blends well with my medium skin tone.- It makes my face look smooth and gives off a healthy slightly dewy/ not too matte look.- It feels really light on the skin and I thought that this is perfect for the summer time.- The staying power is pretty well. I only have to reapply once during the day.Container and Brush:- I don't have any problem with the container.- I haven't experienced any powder mess in my makeup bag.- I appreciated that they added a brush instead of those round puffs that powders usually comes with.- Having the the mini brush fit inside the container itself is pretty convenient. I actually prefer the mini brush more so I don't have to add a full length powder brush in my make up bag where it can get dirty pretty easily.- The only problem is that the brush itself is not very soft and tends to shed.If anyone knows of a similar size brush that could also fit inside the container powder, your suggestions are appreciated!☺Other than the brush, I wouldn't definitely repurchase this product again. 👍

I was so happy to find and be able to purchase this discontinued product! I wish Physician’s Formula would resume making this mineral wear face powder. The price was much higher than it used to be in stores, but I was willing to pay the higher price because I can’t find it anywhere.

There was no plastic sticker over the inside like when it's bought inside a store, I believe the powder on the inside is NOT the original formula because I have started to break out from this one. I will only buy in store from now on.
