2 things I don't understand about PFDs. The first is why do kid PFDs go up to 90 lbs and adult PFDs are for 90+ lbs? Given that almost every human spends several years around the 90 lbs mark, and this is the only PFD on the market that spans 90 lbs, covering 75-125 lbs., why isn't this PFD everywhere?Besides the numbers, my 12-year-old doesn't fit in a kid's and is way too skinny for an adult's. This fits him perfectly.Topping it off, this PFD is reasonably priced, well made and well designed. Thank you Stohlquist!

Great fit and easy to fit on my son. We use it kayaking and fishing year round.

It’s a little more bulky than I would like but it’s a great boating, dockside, being at the waterfront jacket. I bought this for my 2 year old who is 32lbs and 35.5 inches. It’s a good size for him. It’s not a swimming jacket but that is fine he is a non-swimmer. It has a good head rest for back floating. Makes me feel that he would be okay if he falls in. We used it to be safe when we camped waterside. He wore it most of the day with no real complaint.

The strap that goes under the legs is too short. It rides up on my 5 year old (who is not unusually tall)—he basically gets a wedgie wearing this all the time. Had to buy another one. Otherwise the vest seems fine, no other concerns.

I opine that Stohlquist makes or sells one of the best PFD on the market.My one recommendation is that the torso is a bit short and the straps to lenghten could have been made a lil longer.

My son loves this life jacket. So much more comfortable than others we’ve had. This is actually the second one we’ve purchased— so we can have one at the cabin and one at home.

I’m 5’8” 150lb and got a small. Has some adjustments left to go smaller, and plenty adjustments upwards. Light weight and not bulky like those one size fits alls. Use it for standup paddle boarding. Fell in for the first time last week. Enough float to keep my head above water and allowed my to flip my board right side up easily. Climbed back on board without the jacket getting in the way.

J'ai acheté se gilet de sauvetage pour quand je me baigne car j'ai peur de l'eau. Je l'adore, il flotte beaucoup et avec le col je suis sur que ma tête reste hors de l'eau. En prime, il est super confortable!!!

I did a ton of research and this one was consistently more accepted by toddlers. We just got the next size up as the last one worked well.
