Solid, well-built mouse with excellent sensor, still holds up well
I picked up the Logitech G502 HERO for £38, which is a bit on the higher side for a wired mouse, but I tend to stick with Logitech as their mice have been consistently reliable for me over the years. Build quality is very good. The mouse feels solid in the hand, with a reassuring weight even before adding the adjustable weights. Nothing creaks, the buttons have a positive click, and overall it feels like a durable piece of hardware rather than something disposable. The shape is comfortable for longer sessions, especially if you prefer a more substantial mouse. The HERO sensor is excellent. Tracking is precise and consistent, and it performs exactly as expected whether for general desktop use or gaming. DPI adjustments are easy to access, and the on-board memory is useful if you move between machines and don’t want to rely on software every time. Functionality is where the G502 really stands out. The programmable buttons are genuinely useful rather than excessive, and the adjustable weight system lets you fine-tune the feel to your preference. Scroll wheel options, including the free-spin mode, are a nice touch and something I’ve come to expect from Logitech at this level. RGB lighting is present but subtle and easy to ignore or disable if you’re not interested. Logitech’s software is straightforward enough for setting profiles and button mappings, and once configured, you don’t need to think about it again. Overall, while £38 isn’t cheap for a wired mouse, the G502 HERO still represents good value given the build quality, sensor performance, and long-term reliability. If you already like Logitech mice and want something solid, accurate, and well proven, this remains a safe choice.

Solid and comfortable
I purchased this mouse for gaming but also as a new day to day mouse. I love it for a number of reasons and now own 2 as I use it at work for working on CAD or 3D modelling. When paying a bit more and going with Logitech I was hoping to get a premium gaming mouse that combines exceptional design, advanced programmability, and top-tier performance, all of which I feel this satisfies. Plus after being burnt by wireless mouses that go dead when Im not looking, I am please to be useing a wired mouse again! For me the mouse feels sleek, ergonomic and is big enough to handle different hand sizes and grip styles, complemented by high-quality materials and rubberized grips for durability. A nice bonus is that it is programmable, which means I have set up shortcuts that you can use in games but actually I have more useful for navigating the web, as I have a button set to 'back' and one set to 'screenshot' meaning that basic tasks are made easy. On the whole it feels precise and responsive and customization extends to adjustable weights, enabling me to fine-tune the mouse's balance and weight to my preference using five 3.6g weights. I prefer my mouse to be a little heavier so have 4 of them left in. This is a nice feature to have and I can change it at any time if I desire and I wanted to use it for different games or tasks. The scroll wheel offers both smooth and ratcheted modes for versatile use and it feel satisfying and substantial when I am gaming. I am not that interested in the light options but have played around and feel that its a cool bonus to have them pulse or flash depending on the mood or game I am playing. Overall, the Logitech G502 Hero stands out as a top-tier gaming mouse, offering a blend of comfort, customization, and high performance that caters to both casual and competitive gamers. Not sure I will be buying 3 but I really think its a great purchase.

Decent mouse.
It does exactly what they say. Easy to adjust the weight if that's something you want to do, the buttons all work and the DPI range is excellent. Feels good in the hand and have no issues in prolonged usage.

Good gaming mouse with a solid design
A good gaming mouse that feels comfortable and well built. The ergonomic shape fits nicely in the hand, and there are plenty of buttons available for gaming and everyday use. The scroll wheel feels responsive, and the additional controls are useful once you get used to their positioning. The mouse also has a nice gaming-style design without being overly flashy. It feels sturdy and has good weight to it, while the cable is long enough for a typical desktop setup. Tracking has been smooth and responsive during my use, and overall it performs well for both gaming and general computer use. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars rather than 5 is that the mouse is a little on the bulky side, and some of the extra buttons take a little time to get used to. Overall, a good, solid gaming mouse with plenty of features and good build quality. A worthwhile option for anyone looking for a feature-packed wired gaming mouse.

Great mouse, too demanding software
Excellent gaming mouse and also excellent for other uses. I would say the downsides are the G logo on. It just looks a bit weird and out of place in some people set ups and really annoyingly the software is just really heavy on your PC. It requires a lot of compute for some reason and if you make it boot on start up then it makes your start up a lot slower it’s fairly lightweight. The RGB isn’t bright but it’s excellent. A kind of just just not nice not super noticeable but you can notice it if that makes sense. It just looks really clean or as compared to my rubbish keyboard RGB it just looks excellent. It’s fairly lightweight and it does come with customisable weights which I just took all of them out of the first 10 seconds, but you know if you want heavy mouse then that’s an option. obviously which you should see from the product page but it is wired I’ve had quite a few people come round and try it and it does fit in most hand sizes really well although if you’re having long gaming sessions with fairly sweaty hands it does get some not very nice goose stuck in really not very nice places, so you might have to clean it a bit if you’re doing that.

Simplicity, perfectly
As always, simple, great mouse. I play GW2 and needed something effective. I owned one of those many years ago and gave it to my brother after retiring from gaming. Now, as many famous band do, I have a one last show, so got the mouse back. Never let me down and new app is great.

Excellent gaming mouse, flawless laser tracking!
The G502 Hero is a good all round gaming mouse which has constantly provided me with 100% precise & reliable tracking. Good non-slip grip, comfortable, nice option to lock/unlock mouse wheel, clicks or free spinning, adjustable weight(s), plenty of cable. I cannot fault this mouse for any PC gaming or everday general desktop use, especially when using Photoshop as the pointer tracking is pixel perfect, this is the 2nd one I've bought. My 1st one lasted me ruffly 3 years before the rubber grip where thumb sits wore a bald spot, the outer rubber cable that exits the mouse rubber cord grip somehow split there about half an inch exposing the inner protective metal braiding, I repaired it with a bit of heat shrink, that said my old G502 Hero still works perfectly in everyway, no button click wear on any buttons, no mouse wheel wear from scrolling/spinng the wheel up & down, flawless tracking, flawless scrolling, still doesn't miss a beat, just put away as a spare for now. I bought a new G502 to go with a new custom built PC, plus it happened to be on offer for £29, which is a really good deal, especially for what it has given me the last 3 years! Windows 10 & 11 will detect it straight away when plugged into any USB socket as a generic plug & play mouse which will work immediately, BUT... to get the most out of the G502 Hero definitely goto the Logitech website, download & install the Logitech G Hub software, this will allow you to customise & configure everything on the mouse, from the DPI, changing light colours, macros, remap mouse buttons & wheel etc, as well as other features, it's not gutsy on the system either & will sit quietly in the background on startup, though go into the G Hub settings & untick "send usage data" & "send error logs". Never had any errors with mouse or software. The only negatives with the G502 Hero I can think of after 3 years of gaming & general family use: Rubber grips & outer sheath on mouse cable could be a bit tougher so its more durable to wear over time. If you're looking to replace an old gaming mouse, this one does it's job & is reliable performance wise!

Probably the best mouse ever
Best mouse on the planet! The one I use at home has been going strong for over 10 years now, the rubber on the side has just worn smooth from use, but the G402 I use at work recently died (the cable got caught on something and damaged) and I replaced it with the spare G502 I've had in my drawer for 5 years, so obviously I've had to buy a new G502 to keep as a spare in case the horrifying day they stop making these marvels ever comes!

Confort y buena calidad 🐀
