Beared Dragon
Perfect for heat at night for my sons beared dragon. Keeps the temperature just right, especially when it gets really cold at night. Love the fact that it does not light up at all.

Works great for my bearded dragon
I use this to help keep my bearded dragon enclosure at the right temperature at night as my apartment can get pretty cold in the winter. I have the lamp plugged in to a thermometer control in order for my enclosure to not get to hot.

Blue Tongue Skink approved!
I use this for my blue tongue skink and it holds her enclosure at the perfect temperatures. Our previous emitter could barely break 70 degrees while prepping the tank for her. Once everything was cycled and we realized that temps weren’t holding, we had to get a new bulb FAST! (we got her from a rehab and we were scheduled for adoption/pick up the next morning at this point)W/ regular shopping, it was here two days later. We were able to maintain 90+ temps with some towels and other bootleg tactics, so don’t worry, the skink was 100% comfy during this! It just got very tiring very fast. Sooo happy with this purchase.

Heats up like a charm
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. I have had it for about a month now so I can’t speak to the longevity.

Very nice and hot. Emits absolutely no light. Make sure to use the right type of hood.
Gets so nice and hot! Emits absolutely no light. Make sure you use a special hood or wire holder to put it in. It can't go into a regular dome hood. I discovered that all the hanging hoods would not work with this, but I still wanted this to hang above my tank (as opposed to being inside or setting right on the top mesh). I ended up buying a wide, brooders hood (for baby chicks) with a ceramic top (bulb gets really hot and needs ceramic). But the catch was, that type of hood only came with a clamp that had to attach to the side of the talk. I ended up making a copper hanger and had a perfect DIY solution (see pics).

Poor customer service from Fluker's
Update 1/12/2013: Well, it broke again. I'm not dealing with this. We went with a zoo-med one. Hopefully it'll work better.I bought the Fluker's Ceramic Heat Emitter 150 Watt for my fiancée's hedgehog. The hedgehog hopefully enjoys the heat (I don't know whether it's actually emitting as much as it should, it doesn't seem that hot); however, I didn't enjoy the threading on the socket getting destroyed very quickly. Every few days I would have to pull the light out, reseat the threading, and plug it back in. I finally decided to call Fluker's because they say it should last for 5 years. It turns out I accidentally called Zoo Med thinking I had bought Zoo Med ReptiCare Ceramic Infrared Heat Emitter 150 Watts . I really wish I had. I called them, immediately someone answered, asked for my Amazon invoice and was ready to mail one out to me. When I got the invoice ready, I was embarrassed and told them I called the wrong company, which is too bad, because I then had to call Fluker's.When I called them, there was a lot of laughing, followed by a moment of silence, followed by a voice just saying "Fluker's". I had explained the situation to a CSR that just didn't seem to care or understand what I was asking her. When I finally mentioned that I bought this from Amazon, she seemed all too excited to tell me it's Amazon's problem.... Amazon should be dealing with the quality of their products. Luckily, Amazon was nice enough to replace this for me, but when this does eventually break again, I'll be switching to the Zoo Med one.Overall, it works (I think), but I really wish I had bought a different brand

Great Ceramic Heat Emitter
I really like this ceramic heat emitter because it is way cheaper than the ones at Petsmart but yet very effective in its purpose. I have a 5 foot female albino ball python and this heat emitter keeps her tank the correct heat during the day and night. She has a 75 gallon tank and I use this 150 watt ceramic heat emitter and a 150 watt basking bulb for her cage. The basking bulb is used between 7 am and 6 pm. And the ceramic heat emitter is on always. I will post later on to see how long these emitters last.

Muy buen producto
Dura mucho , no emite luz , solo calor , lo único es que hay que estar pendiente de que siga calentando ya que al no tener luz puede que uno no se de cuenta cuando ya no sirve .
