Update 4 stars - I contacted the company and they did stand behind their product as they said in the description. They apologized and promptly sent out a new replacement tent. Hoping that it was a fluke, but won't know for sure until the next trip a few months from now. I'll probably scotch guard the bottom of it to be safe anyway.Originally 2 stars - Used this two times this week for our first time. Both times, it rained. Both times the bathtub floor leaked through in the same area. The first night was a light rain throughout the night. Thought it was our fault because we left some of the additional ground cover exposed. However, the next time we set it up right with the addition of a tarp over the tent. The floor STILL leaked. I'm thinking maybe a defect in that area of the tent since it keeps happening in the same zone. The company claims to stand behind their product. I just have to figure out who to contact and hope that they make good.I should say that this was very lightweight, compact and easy to set up for the motorcycle campers. It is definitely for 3 season if dressed and properly prepared for temps down to 36°. We used a ground cover, tent, aluminum mat, insulated mat, insulated sleeping pad, double sleeping bag for 32°, and a base layer. It worked well if we snuggled. Mainly these expectations gave it 2 stars. If it didn't leak, it would be a 4 star because the rainfly comes up a little too high off the ground for my liking.

I just returned from a camping trip to Leo Carrillo, CA with my new 3 Person Camping Tent by Highland Peak, and I love it. The tent is light, easy to carry, and uncomplicated to assemble. Setting up the tent was simple; there was no confusing steps, no fumbling around with poles. The interior is very spacious as well. There is definitely enough room for multiple adults along with all their gear. The LED light was also a nice touch. Not being able to find your flashlight in the dark while in your tent can be frustrating, however, the interior LED light solves that problem.I can tell this product was made with great attention to detail. The materials seem of high quality that I can tell will stand up to the elements. The dual openings on either side of the tent provided both airflow and accessibility. I loved how I could walk through my tent, as well as being able to exit from either side easily. With both doors opened, I am able to take in more of the beautiful scenery that is obstructed by a normal tent.Taking down the tent was also simple. I had the tent down and packed by myself in no time. I would definitely recommend the 3 Person Camping Tent by Highland Peak to any of my friends or family. I look forward to enjoying my Highland Peak tent for years to come! I can't wait to take my new tent on my next camping trip.

I bought this tent to have a lighter weight tent to go camping alone.I am over 6'4" and needed something that I can get into. This tent just accommodates my height with no room to spare, so it works for me.I took this camping in West Texas in late November. It did get cold and windy, dipping to freezing one night. The tent did a good job of blocking the wind and kept me warm enough. There are lots of options for ventilation to get just the right amount of airflow.The tent did not come with instructions, but it is easy to figure out and it goes up in a hurry. The poles are sturdy. The cover snaps on nicely and securely. It is not difficult to fold up and pack back in the bag and the bag does fit in my hiking backpack with room to spare.I recommend this tent to people up to my height. Perhaps two people if they aren't very large.

I was looking for an efficient and lightweight tent for my girlfriend and I to use both backpacking and for car camping. We wanted a tent that would allow us room for a double sleeping pad, and gear to the side of us. We live in Florida, so we also wanted a tent that would allow lots of airflow. Finally, we wanted a tent with dual openings so we won’t wake each other up when going in and out of the tent to the bathroom. This tent hit on every mark. My only dislike, is that it does not come with a footprint, or have the option to add a footprint too. We found another tent with a very similar footprint (Big Agnes 4) and purchased their footprint which worked great.

I really wanted to like this tent. I'm looking for a replacement for my ten year Columbia tent. Setting up this tent was easy but I noticed seams on the tent were stretched tight. During take down, the seams around the zipper were coming undone. Could be repaired but this tent is new. The fly on the other seemed like it could withstand a good downpour. The quality of materials used were excellent but quality of workmanship was terrible. Would not buy again.

It was easy to set up with one person and is the size I needed. It would be great for summer camping. (Unfortunately I need it for winter camping and it doesn’t hold in the heat.)

It was purchased for the Boyscout.and It is light and roomy, perfect for teen boys
