Corelle Impressions 20-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4, Abundance

Such a happy pattern; I have everything I need in Abundance except for the flatware which oddly, has been discontinued. But I digress. Here's the thing...If you are particular, the mugs are made in Thailand. They are good quality stoneware; everything else I have is made in USA--not sure about the tumblers, there are no distinguishing markings that tell us where they are made. I ordered a casserole dish and the lid was shattered in the package. Amazon sent me a new one lickety split; great customer service there. Oh, by the by, the casserole/baking dishes are made in China; I know many are particular about that just so you know. But it's all stood the test of time. I am super duper clumsy and have a case of the dropsies time to time, having motor issues with my hands; can't always grasp, so the stuff just falls. No breakage with all my drops. Enjoy; this is a pretty one; nice enough to look good on the table, but not so nice that you look like you are an entertaining Ambassador.

Beautiful pattern and colors. Very lightweight to pick up. I am a senior citizen and cannot pick up heavy dishes. Very well made.

Make sure to ask the seller about the cups, because they are stoneware and made in Thailand...instead of being the same kind of correlle material the plates and bowls are, which are made in the U.S.A. The stoneware is heavier and I feel will break easierly. The original set I purchased from the store have cups that are made in the correlle material and made in the U.S.A. There were also a couple of scratches on one of the plates. I'm not one to return things, but make sure that if you purchase this exact item...you e-mail the seller with these concerns so that they can check the items before they send them to you.

I like the pattern and the delivery arrived sooner than expected. Some of the pieces had more wear and tear on them than I had expexted.

My mother who lives with us has Parkinson's disease. Her tremors are to the point that the glaze on my stoneware was cracking and chipping so I had to throw away several pieces of my American Made stoneware.Corelle is perfect, it doesn't chip and it saves a ton of space in my cabinet. It fits into the dishwasher much easier than the soneware does.I highly recommend Corelle, still American Made.

In the last year of ordering correlle abundance items as gifts for my mother in law from Amazon, they have managed to pack absolutely nothing securely. The latest blunder being the packaging of a ceramic baking set, which they dropped in to a cardboard box and applied one thin sheet of styrafoam packing. Getting this item replaced has been a 3 month nightmare, ending with Amazon telling me sorry for the trouble we can't meet our obligation to you, here's your money back. 100% unacceptable from a retailer who use to carry such high standards in customer service.

I usually love corellware so ordered these sight unseen. The pattern is raised so when you scrape your fork across the plate, it's very annoying, like fingernails scratching a blackboard. I don't like it and my husband doesn't like it. They also aren't very shiny, kinda dull for brand new, although that's not enough to make me not like them but I really hate the scratching. As soon as I can afford it, I will get rid of these and find something else but won't buy on line.
