Sevylor 120V 2.5-PSI Pump

I won a Sevylor kayak in a contest and quickly discovered that a manual foot pump works, but it is tedious and annoying, so I bought this pump. It inflates and deflates efficiently and I have no complaints about the job it does.I do have one complaint about the pump: it is stinking loud. Since it comes with a standard three-pronged power cable it is clear this unit is intended for use in or near a building, but in my apartment the sound was almost deafening. Luckily I already own a power inverter that plugs into the cigarette lighter of my car, so I will be able to plug this in down by the river to air up my kayak. It should be a lot less ear-shattering outdoors.If you need an air pump, this one works well.

Way too loud. Sent it back

Seems to be pretty rugged to me but then again, I used it on a deck at a camp and not in an extreme environment by any means. Purchased to blow up a Great Big Mable towable and it had plenty of power to fully and completely inflate that monstrosity. I made sure to keep it away from anything that would block the airflow and increase the heat because it does seem to get a little warm but it was fine during operation. As noted in other reviews, it is very loud. No doubt about that. Powerful though. I have to say the adapter for Boston valves seems a little large and didn't fit as well as I would have liked but it did work.

I bought this last year and I wasn’t able to use it untilApril of 2021. I drove several States away for a paddle board vacation with friends. I pulled it out of the box to use and the hose cracked in 2 places immediately. Then, it just stopped working.My friend bought the one that comes with the car outlet, last year also and her is not working well anymore.I DON’T suggest this product or brand to ANYONE.It was a waste of $50.00.

I have mixed feelings about this pump. I like that it is extremely fast. But the hose is very rigid and wants to stay coiled. When I tried straightening it out to the hose split. Fortunately I was able to seal it with electrical tape. I bought it over the winter and this was my first real use, so too late for a return. The pump also apparently draws too much power to be used with the electrical outlet of my 2016 Ford F-150, so I ended up pumping my inflatable kayak by hand after all.

This pump was well worth the cost! It was easy to use and lightweight. My granddaughter and I were using foot pumps to inflate my Seylor dingy/boat with wooden floor. After an hour of getting nowhere, I decided to order this pump. I was anxious to try the pump when it arrived within a few days. I connected the pump and turned it on…within five minutes our pump was good to go. This Seylor pump for my Seylor inflatable boat was the way to go for me!!! It was quick and easy! I’d definitely recommend it.

I bought this last year, gently used it twice, and now it is completely dead. Unfortunately for me it is too late to return it. Don't waste your $$ on this.

This works great and fills up anything very quickly. The only thing is, is that when I want to fill up my kayak it doesn't plug into the car. So I would recommend getting an adapter for it.
