HP 99 Photo Original Ink Cartridge (C9369WN) Discontinued by Manufacturer

Since this item is no longer produced by the manufacturer, the item was past its expiration date, but it performed perfectly in my printer and produced the output I expected. I am disappointed in HP for discontinuing this ink; it produces wonderful photos in my HP Photosmart 8150 printer.

I was quite happy with the color prints from my HP 6940 Printer. I decided to try this ink package which replaces the BLACK ink cartridge in my printer. Using photo glossy paper there was a noticeable difference especially in people pictures.I did a side by side print job and was happy with the picture using the normal cartridge set up but was 'happier' when I used this new cartridge.$16 with free shipping from the CARTRIDGEWAREHOUSE Via Amazon. I know it's another cartridge with three colors of ink that will be useless if any of the 3 colors are used up but I wanted to try it. The HP #99 cartridge does make a big difference on flesh (less red) and more vivid color on a yellow dandelion before I ripped it up by the roots.Is it worth it? I can't say. Depends how picky you are. There is a larger difference between types of paper when making photos but it is better with this cartridge. Curious to see if recycled refills will be available...Happy :-)

I have been buying these cartridges from the local big name office supply fo 3 times the price. I was just about ready to give up on printing my own pictures when I thought about possibly purchasing them from Amazon.com. I was amazed but not surprised when I saw the price to be 1/3 the cost from Amazon. I received them within a week and am very pleased with the product. The cartridges came in minimal packaging, but are authentic HP cartridges assuring me that I have received a good produt as per usual from Amazon. Yay I can resume my own printing form my own home at will! PS. I receintly purchased my photo paper in the same manner. I know that they say buy local but at the local mall prices (at which I am just paying the stores extreemely high rent prices) no way! Thank you over and over again Amazon.com.

With the obsoleting of the printer cartridge, I have to find other ways of getting my photos printed. BUMMER TO THE EXTREME.

It's ink only issue is that they all run out to soon.

I love to scrapbook and I like to print the pictures from my computer. I have an HP PSC 2355 and had been using the traditional inks. I was skeptical that it would make a difference, but I as much as I spend on other scrapbooking items I thought it was worth a shot.I was really pleased with the results. One thing I had to learn the hard way, USE HIGH QUALITY PAPER!!! Now I use HP Premium Plus photo paper. Printing pictures from your home computer is one of the areas where the additional money is worth it.

The Hewlett Packard 99 photo inkjet cartridges are excellent products. Quality of prints were excellent with superb definition and excellent color rendition. We had great difficulty finding this particular inkjet almost anywhere except for amazon.com and one other place whose price was much higher. Walmart no longer sales this item and has discontinued them. packages were received in excellent shape with no damage and were very timely in getting through the mail.

Unfortunately, this cartridge has been obsoleted by HP and new ones no longer available.The cartridge I ordered in May '17 was manufactured in 2010 and expired in 2016. It might still work, but the shelf life isn't forever. I haven't used it yet.When available, this was a great product, but the printer(s) that use it (e.g., HP Photosmart 8750 Super-B inkjet printer) are about 10 years old now.

I bought this cartridge because my HP 8450 printer is obsolete and Amazon is the only place you can buy a cartridge for this printer, it is not dry and it works great.
