Samsung Part# DC64-01570A Door Diaphragm (OEM)

We have a Samsung Vsteam washing machine that began to have a slight leak from the front door. I'm pretty sure that one of us closed the door with an article of clothing jammed between the boot and the glass and it deformed the seal. That made a cup and helped water run out on wash cycles.The install took me about 3 hours and watching a YouTube video of a similar process was helpful. I had to unstack the dryer to open the top before removing the front panel and door. The only challenge was getting the boot around the lip before replacing the retaining wire.Getting the boot sealed was time-consuming and left my fingertips pretty raw. A spluge tool from a car door panel kit really helped to get the boot installed.Like all round things such as a bike tire, it's the last 10% that is the hardest to get seated without other areas coming loose.No leaks after the installation and the old mildewy smell is gone too (for now).

This saved me a couple of hundred dollars in repair costs. The old one just wore out. My first reaction was to call a repair service and have them deal with it. Then my wife suggested that I try to fix it myself. If it did not work I could then call for a repair. I found my manual (so I was sure to order the correct replacement) and then searched Amazon. They had what I was looking for. I cannot remember if it was same day, next day or two day prime delivery. I do remember it got here fast. And it was a Samsung product not a generic replacement. Be sure to watch a video (youtube) for your particular model. Armed with the replacement, the youtube video and the correct tools I had it replaced in 2 hours. If you can follow directions and be patient you will save yourself some money. Plus get the satisfaction of doing it yourself. You will impress your husband (or wife).

Just what I needed to replace a mildew stained diaphragm on our 8 year old Samsung washer. Install wasn't to bad, took a couple hours but that includes cleaning the inside of the washer and checking other things while I was in there. The diaphragm was a little deformed from packing it in a small box, but it makes a complete seal and may regain its shape with a few hot cycles. Overall very happy to get a few more years out of my washer. Washer model WF448AAP

Was pretty difficult for my husband to install but he got it done. Solved our leaking washing machine problem. Would purchase again

Do your research before buying this product...buyer beware does not fit "most" front load washer as was stated when purchased only works with 59249003, 59249006, 59249193, 59249196, WF428AAL, WF428AAW, WF431ABP, WF431ABW, WF438AAR, WF448AAE, WF448AAP, WF448AAW units verify your model before purchase biggest waste of money I have ever spent.

This Door Boot was the exact replacement for my model of Samsung Washer (which is model WF431ABP/XAA 04). This boot was the correct size and all the hoses and fittings lined up just the same as the original boot.

Product arrived warped out of the box. I proceeded with the tedious and time consuming install and this defective door boot leaked immediately.

Works, fits and makes us happy.Don't be scared about the narrow size of one of the holes for connecting tubes. It is supposed to be like that. Add a little soap and all will fit.
