Mavic Plasma SLR Road Helmet

I got this helmet on the theory that one ought to update one's helmet every five years. In this case, my old helmet was nine years old. Having worn the same helmet for nine years, I found that this one covered the same amount of my head, but felt smaller on my head and looked sleek. I'm not convinced that it is worth the price, and I don't think there are studies that show more expensive helmets offer better protection, but I liked the look and feel, so I bought it, and I'm happy with it. I wish it came in more colors.

I really like the helmet, and I'd love it but for one thing: it is not the deep yellow color depicted in the ads; it's a lighter shade with more green in it. It clashes with my yellow bike.

NOTE: The fit on this helmet is a little on the small side. I wear a medium in everything else, but this is very snug.

oft habe ich beim Downhill ein Gefühl als hätte ich den Helm vergessen.DasTeil ist so gut durchlüftet dass man glaubt man wäre ohne ...unterwegs.Erst der Griff auf den Kopf gibt mir die Bestätigung dass ich den Helm nicht zu Hause vergessen habe.
