字幕が日本語訳用と吹替用の2種類収録されており、例えば日本語吹替えで視聴したり、英語で聞いて日本語訳字幕を見ると、翻訳のニュアンスの違いも分かって更に面白い。 子供の頃にNHK 放映されていたのを夢中で見た興奮がブルーレイ映像により鮮やかによみがえりました。 チャプター毎に見返す事ができるためホームズとワトソンが辿る推理過程も振り返って何度も細かく検証出来ます。 登場人物の相関関係図付き作品説明書も嬉しい資料です。

字幕と日本語のセリフが違うので、気になる。だけど字幕無しにすれば「まあ、いいか」と思える。順番はNHKの放送通りではない。これは放送自体、本の通りじゃないから特には問題なし。要は、シャーロックホームズ史上、最高の出来と言われるグラナダTVのドラマが全話入ったブルーレイというところに価値がある。そして、小さいけどハンドブックが1冊入っており、全てのストーリーに関して、あらすじやワンポイントある所がファンにとって嬉しい。

I've been a big fan of Mr. Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes produced by Granada Studios and ITV UK since I was 12-13 years old, back in the '80s. Even twenty-five years after his untimely death due to heart failure on September 12, 1995, I'm still his loyal fan. I was totally devastated the day I read the news of his passing. To me personally, Mr. JEREMY BRETT was, still is and will ALWAYS be the BEST and the MOST DEFINITIVE SHERLOCK HOLMES. Absolutely no contest and peerless. He is also forever my Nikolai Rostov in "War and Peace" (1956, with Audrey Hepburn and Henry Fonda), Freddy Eynsford-Hill in "My Fair Lady" (1964, again with Audrey Hepburn), D'Artagnan in "The Three Musketteers" (BBC series 1966), Count Danilo Danilovitch in "The Merry Widow" (BBC Christmas Special musical in 1968 with Mary Costa), Lord Goring in "An Ideal Husband" by Oscar Wilde (BBC Play of the Month 1969), Captain Jack Absolute in "The Rivals" (BBC Play of the Month 1970), Bassanio in "The Merchant of Venice" by Shakespeare (National Theatre, TV movie in 1973), Berowne in "Love's Labour's Lost" by Shakespeare (BBC Play of the Month 1975), Basil Hallward in "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde (BBC Play of the Month 1976), my lovely darling Maxim de Winter in "Rebecca" (BBC mini series 1979 with Joanna David), Edward Ashburnham in "The Good Soldier" (Granada TV movie 1981), Macbeth in "Macbeth" by Shakespeare (1981), George Duke of Bristol in "On Approval" (BBC Play of the Month 1982), William Pitt the Younger in "Number 10 - Bloodline" (ITV mini series 1983), and William Nightingale in "Florence Nightingale" (1985 with Jaclyn Smith and Timothy Dalton).Words cannot describe how happy I am to be a proud owner of this Sherlock Holmes Granada Series Blu-ray Box Set! This is definitely the best DVD/Blu-ray box set of Sherlock Holmes Granada Series I ever got besides the one I already bought from Amazon US a few months prior. It cost me quite a fortune (even though the price has been discounted) but I never felt any remorse of getting it to complete my ultimate collection. Each upper side of the disc is printed with a variety of lovely image of Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes. The quality of both the picture and sound is superb. The extra booklet is a real treasure for all fans of Sherlock Holmes Granada Series and Jeremy Brett (the amazing, legendary but sadly underrated British actor) in particular. All discs play smoothly on my region-free Blu-ray/DVD player. I can find no flaws in this item. Totally enjoyable and I highly recommend it.

素晴らしい出来です。ストーリーは原作に忠実ですし、ビクトリア朝のイギリスの雰囲気も味わうこともでき、申し分はありません。残念なのは、原作すべての話がドラマ化できていないということでしょうか。これは、主人公の役の俳優さん(ジェレミー・ブレット氏)がなくなられてしまったためなので仕方がない話ですが。

最近海外ドラマにはまっているのでじっくり見ようと思っています

リマスターによる画質の改善は素晴らしいです。惜しむらくは、ノーカット完全版になったことで、露口茂さん以外の声優が一部（テレビでカットされていた部分）を吹き替えていることです。声質が違うのは仕方ないにしても、ホームズの人柄がまで変わってしまったような印象を受けるような吹き替えで、視聴していると気が散ります。通してみても、テレビ版でカットされていた部分はなくても支障はなく、うまく編集されていたのだなあと思います。であればこそ、テレビ版の編集のままでリマスターしていただけたら良かったのにと思います。それなりの価格で再販するとなると、リマスターだけでなくノーカットという付加価値もつけざるをえないのでしょうか。テレビ版とノーカット版と両方収録されていれば完璧ですが、ディスク枚数の問題で難しいのでしょうか。

最高のシャーロックホームズだと思います。昔観た方は、価格次第ですが、購入の価値ありですよ。

アナログ放送で楽しんだ番組が、Blu-rayで美しく蘇っていますNHKテレビ放送でカットしたところは別の方が吹き替えしていますが、私は気になりませんでした全編揃えることができる40年前にタイムスリップできますこのBlu-rayBOXと併せて「シャーロックホームズとジェレミーブレット（原書房）」を購入して楽しむことをおすすめします
