Q: Do the handles get hot? Thank you!

Yes! Dropped the pan the first time I picked it up after cooking. Now I have to use pot holders every time before touching the handles.

Q: Are these anodized aluminum or anodized steel?

I do not know for sure, however I do own anodized steel pans and compared then to the green life pans. The weight difference alone leads me to believe that these are anodized aluminum. That being said, for me that's okay I bought them knowing that my children would not inherit them. I bought a test pan and used it for 7 months before buying g more. I am amazed at the cleanability and the very little oil or butter you need to cook. The pans directions state you really don't need anything.
