VRTOPINK Compatible DR221CL Drum Unit DR-221 Replacement for Brother MFC-9130CW MFC-9330CDW MFC-9340CDW HL-3140CW HL-3150CDN HL-3170CDW HL-3180CDW (DR221BCMY)

My Brother HL-3170CDW is reporting errors for all four drums. I have reset the drums per the included instructions and even unplugged the printer several times to try and reset, all to no avail. Furthermore, two of the drums don't even lock the toner cartridges in place, while the other two barely do so. Save your money and look elsewhere, these will be returned!After examining the two reviews on this product, I'm now a bit suspicious. Drum replacements should be rare, not done all the time, though I suppose someone could have multiple printers?

Brother color printers alert the user to change the drums after a given number of cycles. I purchased these drums and after changing the drums, print quality was poor and a yellow streak printed the length of the sheet. Replacement drums were sent, but print quality became worse. I no longer have a color printer. A set of Brother drums was ordered.

I haven't tested all the colors yet, but the one I did, are working fine.

Poor design or construction means this product is NOT compatible with a Brother MFC-9330CDW, which doesn't recognize it. Specifically, the drum does not secure the toner cartridge, so the machine thinks the cartridge is not installed.

Worked perfect and cost a fraction of the cost than others

I purchased these a little over a month ago and just went to install them. The toner does not clip into the drums. :( I guess it is a lesson to never stock up and just buy as you have a need or else test before the return date is past. I do not recommend these drums.
