Short changed!
Unfortunatly this kit was shipped in it's original box. The extra clear shipping tape used to strengthen the box was a nice touch. So now I have a kit with no hardware due to the container that arrived with a hole in it. Amazing this kit was not shipped within another box. A good design for the ramp ends though. I wanted the kit with the alluminum wraping the board on the bottom and top of it. The sandwich effect would have given the kit the extra support needed for my motorcycle. I was unable to coordinate that order for that style. Try it and you will know what I mean. So I figure I will use some stong pan washers with some stainless hardware I haven't purchased yet. Between Rampart, Highland and Amazon's websites, no contact numbers to address the shipping disaster, I would rate this as a disappointment. Clearly a possible home run if one could actually get the product they had hoped for.

Ramp Kit
These ramps are a great alternative to building a wooden or concrete ramp for your new garden shed. With these two aluminum ramp tops and two pressure treated 2x12x4's and a little drilling you can create a pair or ramps for your shed. I keep a riding lawn mower in my shed and I set the ramps where they needed to be when backing the mower out of the shed and then marked where the ramps need to be located. When you are done using the ramps, simply pick them up and put them in your shed. You don't have to kill the grass in front of your shed or step over them when working around the shed. An excellent value and a great price!

Perfect pitch on the Ramparts mower will not drag the floor or the ramp. That you so much for this product. Ken, Did apply a fw non slip strips as the 2x10 get dirty and kinda slip. Problem Solved. :)

Worked out great. I saw some say the brackets don't fit over the boards, but read the directions they aren't supposed to. I added these to a 2X12 cut in half and it made a great set of ramps to get the snowblower, lawn equipment and generator in and out of the shed. I was worried about the snow blowers eight, its 300 lbs plus me walking behind it, but the ramp was plenty solid.

Highland 1100100 Aluminum Ramp Top Kit
I have been using 2x12 (by 6.5 foot) for over 15 years without them to load my ATVs into my utility trailers (about 18 to 20 inches deck height, which is very low). Thought I'd try them. These are pretty light, but very strong. Very happy with the purchase. I was looking for something safer, cheap and light. This was it. Loading is more secure with them.

as described, as noted by others is just a little off when it comes to fitting the thickness of the 2x12.
