2004 Yunnan Old Pure Wild Organic Puerh Ripe Tea Large Leaves Iceland Age Tree Pu’er Tea Cake 357g

I have now tried another cake of this tea, & it was even less taste & aroma. Also, in addition to twigs & a couple horse hairs, in this one I've found a corn kernel and a couple leaves intact enough for me to feel sure that there is probably a considerable amount of non-tea in these cakes.I first tried Yunnan Pu-erh Tea and loved it. I originally thought that this and another tuaca I bought at the same time were just different teas from the same company, but this tea was not as flavorful as the first. It did not seem like just a milder version, it was the same consistency & had the same taste, but faded in strength. After the first pot, I compensated by using more tea in each brewing, but even then the aroma faded much faster, where the first tea retained the richness even in the last sip cool sip.I have not bought enough tea from any seller to know if this particular tea is not as good, or if it was perhaps just one substandard tuocha, but I do keep track, and will refresh my reviews after i've sampled it again

I've bought this tea many times, but it seems the quality has fallen off. Dry, bland, with lots is twigs the last few cakes. Trying some other brands now.

This is a very pleasant tea. smooth flavor and consistent yield. I can brew 4-5 cups with little decrease in strength.I will buy it gain. good value

This Pu-Er is OK but misleading. It is 2012, not 2004 as advertised.

We are tea fanatics and this remains one of our faves. There is no bitterness, just incredible smoothness and flavor.

This tea is great if you like strong tea flavor. I recommend learning how to properly brew this tea, it really does make a difference!
