Got this light kit last year and installed them during the months of non-use. From the first time they have performed well. I need to tell everyone that if not known the lights should be unplugged before putting the trailer in the water. I know that is something my dad told me wen I was a kid, and it has never let me down. Obviously the original trailer lights were never disconnected as they only worked when they felt like it and I found some burnt out bulbs as well as several other problems. If you are going to change the lights, it is a good idea to also be sure you replace the wiring as well. It really isn't difficult, just time consuming. Also be sure to waterproof all connections especially if your are using the lights for a boat trailer. I was concerned that I should have bought LED's but am quite happy to not have spent the extra dollars as these are plenty bright. If needed, I would buy them again in a heartbeat. O, just remember that if your trailer is over the 80" width, you may need to purchase lights for the center of the back of the trailer. They're easy to hook up to the new wiring.

So I purchased a used Bayliner. The price was right and it included a boat trailer. My first trip down the road caused havoc on the highway because none of the lights on the trailer worked. I spent some time upgrading the trailer to include new lighting. I no longer stress about moving the boat around. The Optronics TL16RK Waterproof Universal Mount Combination Tail Light Kit is a great product. Of course owning a used boat is another story.

Used on my boat trailer, which doesn't see water as much as it should, but that's what retirement is for. Anyway, easy hook-up and no more burned out bulbs!

As I was opening the product package I noticed it was not an led kit. So I requested the required return forms for postage, numbers, etc. and promptly sent it out that next morning. Its been @ a month since then and still no refund or any reply concerning my return.

They serve their purpose well but we're ackward to mount.

Easy to assemble.

Just the right length for my 14' trailer. Very bright lights fit perfectly on standard brackets. Explicit directions made wiring easy. Good product. No surprises. No disappointments.

The kit promises tail and side lights. It came with only the tail lights. They are fine and easy to install but I needed the amber sides. The picture and the product discription are not correct.
