Cake Stencil Kit Paperback – 1 April 2011

I purchased this for my wife who makes cakes for a local coffee shop. We'd been shown these templates by a friend who also uses them in her coffee shop.What can I say, you get a collection of acetate sheets with various patterns and letters/numbers included. You put the sheet over the cake, sprinkle something dusty (Icing sugar, cocoa...) and voila, a pretty pattern on the cake. Being acetate (like the old OHP slides material) the sheets can be easily cleaned, but be gentle with them, they aren't indestructable!Very happy with the purchase, and even happier than I was before with the cakes! Only our friend wasn't too happy, these cost about half the price of the ones she bought and they are exactly the same!

The Cake Stencil Kit arrived the next day, as promised, and I was really pleased with it. I wanted it for a friends birthday cake, I planned to bake. I baked the cake, covered it in berry flavoured whipped cream (it turns out pink and looks great) and stencilled Happy Birthday on top with cocoa powder. It was very simple to use and although not something I will use every day, I will certainly get good use out of the kit and look forward to my next cake and experimenting with the stencils.Great product and value for money.

Nice designs. Handy little folder to keep stencils neat and tidy. All very good. Used a few now and happy with items.
