KTC Pure Butter Ghee 500 g Tin

This is the best tasting Ghee I have found so far. I hope this stays on Amazon. There's no after taste/ odd odour, it looks exactly right. My insides also are totally happy with it, no lactose effects. I've tried a few before and thought 'this is the one' then, and I only bought this one because my usual was out of stock. But now this IS the one for me. Among other things, I scramble eggs in it and I've never enjoyed eggs so much, better than actual butter in my opinion.Edit: Unfortunately the ring pull came off and the can opener can't engage. Should knock a star off, but this is a review of the product. Had to buy a rival's ghee instead.

WORST GHEE EVER!!! Definately going to stick to the organic jars of ghee. This only proves that you get what you pay for ...spores of bacteria in the tin and floating on the ghee and only wish the photo had "smelly vision" as it has stunk the kitchen out. It also seems to be constantly rising out of the tin, over the counter top, can only assume that it is fermenting.

Not a very nice flavour or texture. Basically just for frying. Wouldn't recommend using for anything that keeps it whole. However, if you like the flavour its worth ir for the size and what not

The item arrived with the plastic lid broken from the side. I love cooking with ghee, just the lovely buttery smell as it melts in the pan is enough to make me feel hungry.
