Fairy Tale Princesses Paper Dolls (Dover Paper Dolls) Paperback – November 21, 2012

My twelve year old sister loved these for her birthday. They're pretty enough for an older kid but also cute. I'm 21 and enjoyed admiring them. They're just right for a tween. They were hard to cut out but my sister loves to cut things out herself. If she really wanted I could've cut them out for her and it wouldn't have been too difficult.

They’re very beautiful, but my daughter didn’t like there are only 2 dolls with a front and back for the 4 princesses. Also this mom didn’t like these were not punch out, but it was my job to cut out every...single...little...thing. But beautiful artwork.

Beautiful everything! Only thing I didn't notice was that the four dolls are reversible, meaning there's really only two dolls at a time. Had to photocopy them, but still ok (hence the 4 stars). Dolls can be punched out, but all the clothing must be cut out. A little time consuming, so be prepared. All in all, very happy with this purchase.

Pages torn off and no paper dolls inside!

The dolls you can punch out but not the outfits.You have to cut out all the outfits and accessories. So can be a litte tricky and alot of work but also pays off when you are done.Other than that the dolls are very nice and you get a lot of outfits.

These are very well made paper dolls, but especially for little fingers, or old ones, are hard to cut out with all the detail on each item, but our granddaughter loves them

Just thin and flimsy my kid had fun for 2 hours and never touched it again. A better choice is those magnets that you can pick outfits and change them up because then they last and kids play with them longer for more days

My granddaughter who never heard of paper dolls. Loves these. She is 6. It is a pain to cut out the dolls and clothes but worth it. Paper dolls used to be perforated and easy to punch out.

This book is quite lovely, the character representations are pretty and they aren't trying to be "Disney", Eileen has her own style and each doll is nicely done. There are four pages of outfits per doll, which include terrific gowns, extra shirts/bodices to be worn over the gowns, capes as well. There are nice hairstyles with tiaras, crowns, caps, etc. The dolls each have their own built in stands where the sides are folded in rather than have any brace pieces which may or may not improve their standing ability. There is also a nice background provided which includes aspects of each characters story, from Snow White's cottage to Rapunzel's tower. I gave this product five stars but I do have two quibbles. 1: though there are four dolls you can only really play with two at a time as each "doll" is really two, with the second doll on the reverse of the first. If you want four actual dolls you'll need to make a high quality copy of the reverse doll on equally high quality card stock paper. 2: the gowns don't seem to indicate an actual era these characters should be based on, some of the dresses look like they come from Marie Antoinette's closet (1700'S) while others look like middle ages (12 to 1400's) and then some seem to be renaissance period. I think the dolls should have had period costumes specific to the era's they represent. Other than these two quibbles however I think the dolls and the outfits are stunning and beautiful and as I have no intention of removing the dolls (they are perforated) or cutting out the clothing (must use very sharp small point scissors) the book will last indefinitely. If purchased for children I recommend backing each clothing page with card stock or clear mac-tac to strengthen each item. There are also small pieces which could get lost. Each item is identified specifically for each girl and even the headdresses have multiple tabs to help them stay in place. Enjoy playing with or admiring!

Son dos figuras recortables y cuatro muñecas pues hay una muñeca detrás de la otra. Son muy bellas y elegantes, poca ropa pero es bonito. Debes recortar, también eso divierte.

This book was supposed to keep my daughter entertained - it just kept me cutting out endless dresses and accessories. Sorry I bought it - most dress up books have punch out clothes - I'll look more carefully next time.
