I coach and 11 year old travel basketball team. These are a MUST have to develop strong dribbling skills. We bought two of these so that the kids can use them for all of our two ball dribbling drills. You won't believe what a difference they make after repeated use!We also use these with our big men (4/5 men) every practice. We work post moves, rebounding, and passing with these. It helps teach post players to be strong with the ball. It also helps prevent kids from developing bad habits by rebounding with one hand. 11 year olds can't pluck these off the backboard with one hand...they need to use both hands and be strong. We also use them to teach kids to keep the ball high when rebounding. These help build strength so when we go to the regular ball, they feel like feathers.There are plenty of workout videos out there for these balls. I just received this ball and it is AMAZING.It arrived nearly fully inflated; I was bouncingit around the kitchen almost right away.It feels like it's made of 1/4" thick rubberand will last forever.Can't wait to have a workout with it at the court.It'll make a regulation ball feel like a feather.I also bought the Spaulding TF Trainer, which coststwice as much, took forever to blow up anddoesn't bounce near as well as this one.

After going through several rounds of dribbling workouts with this ball....a regulation 29.5" ball will feel like a feather in your palm. The secret to lightning-quick handles is right here. Tough rubber construction makes me know it will last a long time and you can use it on any surface, asphalt, concrete, sports carpet or wood.

Love this ball, my 11 year old daughter uses it build up her arm strength. She says after she does drills with it and moves back to her regular ball, her regular ball feels like a feather. I also like that this brand has this in a size 28.5. The other comparable (black color ball) has it only in mens adult size 29.5 which would be too big for womens/youth size. We've had it for a month now and have not needed to put air into it.

Excellent for full court passing drills and also for dribbling drills. Working with this heavy ball will help develop strength in the hands, arms, shoulders, and overall upper body.

This is a very well made training basketball. Arrived fully inflated and ready to go. We use it outside on concrete and it doesn't harm the ball. It is well made and feels very durable. We bought it to use for increasing arm and wrist strength and also to improve overall dribbling skills.

If you are like me your basketball playing kid wants to shot even when you do not have a gym...this outdoor ball is perfect for practicing and increasing your distance. It builds arm strength and is essential to any young player....I recommend it for middle school kids.

Works well for my 11year old daughter. She leaves it outside day and night and in the sun. Even with the heat, it has not faded or deteriorated. The surface is a little rough for those who are not serious ballers like myself, but those who practice seriously...the slightly rougher texture is just fine, which is typical of outdoor rubber balls. Works well indoors and outdoors.
