I love that they’re individually packaged, which makes them easy to take anywhere and simple to use. we did use 1 packet in one water bottle and 2 packets for the other bottle that is more full to see what consistency worked best for my grandpa. In our experience, one packet is enough for a regular bottle of water, It all depends on the amount of liquid you’re thickening. If you’re using a larger pitcher or container, you’ll likely need to use more packets. One thing I really appreciate is that these packets are completely flavorless. They don’t add any sweetness or change the taste of drinks at all. I even tasted it by itself because I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t affect my grandpa’s food and drinks. Whether we add it to water, juice, or even soups, it doesn’t interfere with the flavor—it simply thickens the liquid. We also use it in his soups to make them easier and safer for him to swallow, and it works perfectly every time. It’s made a huge difference for someone who can no longer safely drink regular thin liquids due to swallowing difficulties. The cost of $80 for a box of 200 packets, it isn’t cheap. However, considering how well it works and the peace of mind it gives our family, I truly believe it’s worth every penny. If it helps reduce the risk of choking and makes drinking and eating safer for my grandpa, that’s priceless. I highly recommend this product to anyone caring for an elderly parent or grandparent, or anyone who has difficulty swallowing regular liquids. Easy and convenient to use for those with swallow issues. We mix it with a no sugar juice to the desired consistency. It will thicken over time.

Works great for hot or cold liquids specifically and especially coffee and sprite. Also works well in water and other liquids. I use it for my Mom since she has issues swallowing some things. Easy to travel with as well since it is individual packets, best in 8 to 12 oz. Of liquids.

Product works well, my mom likes it because, it does not make items too thick and it is convenient since it is in packets. Rated down 1 star because of shipping issue which caused the loss of 3 of the 200 packets. The 200 packet box was not taped shut and was placed in an extremely oversized shipping envelope that was not sealed completely (leaving a 3 inch open gap). Well, that box opened up and packets were at the bottom of the envelope. After counting them, found that 3 were missing, apparently having escaped through that open gap during transit.

The gel mixes easily with all liquids I have used.

Nectar-thick liquids prescribed by doc after modified barium swallow test. Powdered product made juices taste gritty. This product’s gel consistency makes juices much more drinkable.

This is way better than the powder version. No grit when stirring, and not cloudy. No taste as well.

You can thicken any drink you like… way way better than the powder form and I like it in the small packets , good for storage and traveling.

I rated it 4 stars because of the expired date issue. The product itself is great. I purchased 2 boxes with 400 packets without knowing both boxes have only 7 months until the expired date. So if you buy more than 1 box, better ask their expired date before you place your order. Try to ask seller for 1 box with the newer expired date, but seller said we should finish 2 boxes before the expired date or even after the expired date is ok to use it. I’m speechless for seller’s answer. I think that not everyone likes to use expired or near almost expired products.
