Vertx EDC Transit Sling Tactical Backpack

This sling bag is amazing. My husband can carry so much stuff in it. We are a family of 7 and constantly on the go, it’s light and durable. It is not bulky at all. Plus it easily fits his laptop.

I love everything about this bag. Every piece of material is high quality, and it is assembled and designed with rigorous attention to detail. It is very small and light, capable of barely holding my 13 inch laptop. The CCW compartment can hold a full size competition handgun, like my Glock 34. There are so many cool features, look up one of the video reviews on YouTube!The only downside was customer service. I asked Vertx customer service directly about the internal dimensions of the compartment advertised to hold armor. They told me to ask another company, who makes said armor. I replied that I wasn't interested in that company, and just wanted the internal dimensions so I could evaluate other options. Customer service replied in condescending and insulting terms, and still didn't give me the dimensions.Overall a great product, but don't expect any help from customer service that knows nothing about their own products and isn't willing to ask. If the bag wasn't so perfect I would drop another star...

The quality of this bag is incredible. The features are amazingly well thought out- from the velcro lined internals to the fact that you can put level 3A panels in two separate sleeves, so that if you choose to open it completely, you are covering most (depending on height it could be all) of your vitals. The bag is smaller than I imagined, but will still hold a 15 inch Dell laptop with enough room in the main compartment to toss in a rain jacket. The vertx modularity is unmatched!

There is a LOT to say for this bag and all of its features but I will try to keep it conciseDrawing your Weapon:This bag is fast as anything. If you do your part and put in some practice, you can draw in under 2 seconds (my average at this point is about 1.5-1.7 sec).Capacity:If you can't fit most of the things you need in this bag, you're probably already carrying too much for a backpack draw: the more stuff you put in, the more weight you will be fighting (pulling it AND stopping over-travel) when swinging it around to access the weapon pocket.Where normally I'd have to carry a compact pistol with no light an possibly only the one inserted mag, I can now carry a full size pistol with a weapon light and an extra mag.Features:More features than a custom ordered car.Quick release sling, pull out front beaver tail pocket (that doubles as a cargo net), molle panels, pockets out the wazoo, secret pockets, armor insert capability---- you can literally use the luggage pass-through panel to put your arm through and use as a shield...the list goes on...One more thing that often is overlooked by other tac-back-pack manufacturers because they are trying to appeal to the tacticool crowd, is that this bag does not LOOK like a gun-toting backpack (until its time to party). If you are serious about self defense, you do NOT want a "tactical-looking" backpack, for reasons that should be fairly obvious.Overall, this backpack is worth every penny I paid for it. At this point the backpack is more of a battle buddy than a utility item. If it ever breaks, I will bury it in the backyard and get another and name it "Battle Buddy II".

Excellent bag. Size is perfect for what I was looking for. "Less is more" applies to this bag (for me).Really nice build quality, features, ergonomics etc.. Really in a class all its own. I don't know of another bag that does what this does.

I LOVE this bag because it's my first daily carry pack that is with me anytime I'm not working. lightweight and transitions from shoulder side sling to front sling that I call "my operations desk". Jumping in the truck and I have everything I could need I front of me on my lap. Carry Microsoft surface from time to time and fits perfectly. It gets 3 stars. Because I want more zipper storage and better sized pockets for keeping gear organized to my personal preference. Good buy!

Best carry bag....buts it's expensive. Yeah, the company knows it's overcharging, but the quality is really good and having the ability to cc in my bag had been a great option...honestly I use a P365 or 320 which I can wear on me, but it's nice to have this bag too. For hiking I actually have been able to store/remove efficiency my EVO scorpion while the arm-brace is collapsed...assigning 4 stars due to the absurd price. Also, if you are trying to store a pistol and additional mags you will need to buy the addl Velcro pieces and set them up in your vertex bag...again, for the cost of the bag they should had Ben able to throw this in at no addl charge, cheap A**#%^*>

So well thought out for EDC and CC I bought a second for my wife! Very comfy and holds tight even while hiking. I have done some mountain biking with it and it works pretty well for what it is!
