Im glad I bought it
I use the brewer every couple days. Its simple to use. Noise of operation isn't annoyingly loud. Cleanup is quick & easy; do it right after you brew and the coffee smell doesn't set in. It takes some time to brew, so I have to purposefully allow extra time if Im going to make my coffee & go. Charging cord is USB- no wall plug. My only real complaint is the straw- I don't like it; it makes the drink taste like rubber, and its difficult to clean. I just drink from the cup.

Perfect for quick coffee
Love this So easy to use and convenient. Perfect for just one cup of cold brew instead of a whole pitcher

Choose a slow cold brew pitcher!
Yes, it is quick but you'll sacrifice taste for the expedited time frame. I purchased a pitcher on Amazon that forces me to wait 24hrs for some cold brew. You know, I am glad I do. This slower method produces a much smoother and tastier cold brew. Normally I love Dash products but other reviews are correct, the brew is weaker and smells metallic. In the picture I ran the Dash twice as others have done.

Works as advertised
The Dash Brew2go works great! It comes with everything you’ll need (short of the coffee beans). I use water produced from osmosis. I always recommend using filtered water for espresso or this brew. After the process is completed the average temperature of the finished coffee is around 82°. You might want to refrigerate it prior to adding ice. You’ll avoid ice that melts too rapidly. It’s a great system. Coldbrew in 10 minutes! Make a few brews ahead of time; that way you only have to run the process a couple times a week. * Cleanup requires dumping the grinds and rinsing out the filter and basket combo.

As described
My thoughts on the Cold Brewer It is super easy to put together and it charged easily with a magnetic pin charger. Only downside to the charger is it is maybe 2 feet long at most. Everything came packed safely and all of the parts were wrapped in individual plastics. All of those parts being: A cleaning brush, scoop, silicone straw, the brewing head, siphon tube, filter basket tube, cup, lid and funnel shaped base for brewing head. There is an easy register QR sheet as well as a booklet with directions and recipes for different cold coffee. All of the pieces to the brewer screw together and nest together neatly as advertised, taking up a pretty minimal amount of space in the cabinet for a brewer and cup combo. The pressure brewing head charged quickly. I'm assuming it came mostly charged, as only 30 minutes passed before the light stopped blinking. I used cold water from a pitcher in my fridge to the max water line, and filled the filter basket portion to the max with a coarse ground dark roast. I ran the brewing cycle twice to reach my desired darkness of coffee, and it was a delicious, rich and flavorful cup of cold brew. The process was really cool to watch, as it siphons up the liquid through the grounds, then uses air pressure to push the liquid back through. I noticed a change of color in the water within just a couple minutes. All the pieces are easy to clean and the grounds tamped out of the filter basket portion with just a few hearty taps on a solid surface. If you use this for coffee, and then expect it to be free of a coffee scent for use with other drinks, don't be surprised when it still smells just a little bit like coffee even after a good cleaning. The lid is very spill proof, I held it completely horizontal while full of coffee and the silicone stopper did not come loose of the sipping spout. This definitely will make enjoying a cup of cold brew a lot faster process, as typically I take 2-3 days letting grounds cold brew in a jar at the back of my fridge.

Conveniently portable system for lighter to medium cold brew
The Dash Brew2Go Portbale Cold Brew System is nicely packaged and easy to find the parts. There’s great pictures in the instruction manual to go along with the instructions so set up was easy. The scoop for the coffee grounds was about the same size as the cylinder it goes in so it was a little messy. The battery come with a charge cord and is rechargeable, which is great. The cord is magnetic to the motor unit and is pretty secure but if bumped can get knocked off. I fully charged the motor before making my coffee. I pushed start and it ran for about 9 minutes before it shut off. The noise level is pretty minimal but enough to be annoying at times. I pushed start and the motor again for about 8 minutes. It still did not look dark enough to me. I ran it for a third time and was satisfied with how dark the cold brew was. This is the second kind of coffee grounds I have tried. You do have to provide your own ground coffee. The first one I just was a medium roast and was way too light for me. The second and third time I brewed I used a dark roast. It only got slightly darker to me, but was happy with it. Overall it provides a lighter taste than what I prefer but on a hot summer day was plenty satisfying! Clean up was easy and I’m glad they included the cleaning brush in it as that made cleaning out the tubes easier. Overall I am happy with this cold brew system. I really like the Starbucks home cold brew kits and that cold brew gets way darker. The only problem is you have to steep them for 24-48 hours. This was a much quicker process and I’m sure if you wanted the cold brew even darker that you could just run it a few more times. That would still be faster than steeping it for a couple of days. I could see this being a convenient way to have cold coffee in the summer on a camping trip or on a trip in general, since you don’t have to plug it in. It’s a smaller system to transport which would be very convenient.
