Great quality, but can't find the perfect place to attach it.
I have used this case extensively over the past few months. This case is high quality and does what it is designed to do. It protects my Panasonic DMC-ZS60 from the abuse of hiking/backpacking. The velcro strap in the back is strong and has an extra flap for even more security. I never worry about it coming loose and losing my camera. However, there are a few things about this case that take away from its quality. One, the velcro strap is sewn on, so there is no adjustability. If you want the case to be upright as shown in the picture, then it must be mounted on a horizontal belt, such as the waist or hip belt. The problem with being mounted on the hip belt is that it will slide off when you unbuckle it. If you are wearing a daypack without a hip belt, then you are limited on where to attach it. This brings me to the second annoying thing. If you don't attach it to a wide belt, it flops around. For lack of any other place to attach it, I'll put it on my pants belt loop, but it flops around while walking and requires both hands to unzip it. The third annoying thing is if you try to attach it to the shoulder strap of your pack, then it sits sideways, and because of the wider width, it interferes with arm movement while walking. It will also slide down to the bottom of the shoulder strap where it becomes inaccessible and due to the narrower strap, it will flop around. I've attached pictures to show what I am trying to explain here. So, great case, but I can't find the solution to attach it securely unless I'm wearing a pack with a wide hip belt. Ideally, the attachment velcro would be more adjustable to accommodate different mounting locations.

Interior dimensions
I noticed that several reviewers had sizing issues with this bag. I measured my camera with attached lens before ordering; and ordered based on the product's outside dimensions. Here are the actual INTERIOR measurements of the XL bag for those interested:Depth: 7" without removable divider (subtract about 1/2" for use of divider)Width at the widest point (top): 6"Width at the narrowest point (bottom): 4"I ordered this bag because we do a lot of backpacking and hiking, and although we always take away great memories of the moments, I'm always disappointed with the quality of our point-n-shoot or cell phone snaps of all the beautiful places we visit. I've always avoided taking our nice camera (Nikon D5000) on the trail because of it's weight along with our lenses, filters, etc. But, decided to opt for bringing it with only our 18-55 attached lens and one filter. This combo fits nicely into this bag, and I can even switch out for our 55-200 lens w/filter if I remove the divider. The interior pocket fits slim items like a couple extra battery packs or SD cards. There are exterior stretchy pockets on each side that might hold cleaning cloths, a charger, or the neck strap when not in use. The zipper is designed to keep out dirt, which is great, but this also makes the zipper drag a bit, even with lube. So beware that you won't be able to access your camera in a hurry. The bag is VERY lightweight but seems adequately padded and sturdy for it's intended use. The belt attachment has double Velcro so it can be adjusted to use over a standard width belt or a wider backpack belt. There is also a handy clip loop above the belt strap so you can run a biner clip through for added security in case of Velcro failure or snags. Overall, I think this will be a dependable bag for what we need. I will be sure to update my review if I encounter any issues - in the meantime, I hope the interior specs will be helpful.

Large too small for Nikon D3300, returned for XL
Ordered a large for my Nikon D3300 with the smaller kit lens after reading a review that a large is a snug but doable fit for this camera model. It did not fit with the ability to zip no matter which way I flipped it so I am returning it for an X-Large.Seems like a nice bag that I'll be happy with once my new one arrives. Very sturdy with a triple velcroed belt/waist strap for securely fastening to my pack or waist when hiking and backpacking. I own an Osprey Aura backpack that I love and wanted something nice to take my DSLR in when I'm backpacking and hiking that is lightweight, durable, and easy to access my camera from. The larger size should be nice to carry extra batteries and memory cards in too.Although I'm sad the large wouldn't work (always hopeful of the least bulk), I'm looking forward to getting my XL as I love Osprey products.

I really wish my camera fit
I really like the Osprey UltraLight Camera Case. It is what it says it is -- very light, with a nice carry strap. Don't expect a great deal of protection, but an easy to carry option for when you want to pack as light as you can while still bringing your DSLR.I'm not letting it affect my score, but I am returning this case because my camera does not fit. While my Canon 5d Mk III does fit width-wise in the case, it is slightly too long with a 24-70mm lens on the front. Unfortunate, because otherwise I really like the case. I guess I need to hold out for the 2XL case...

but good enough for me
in case anyone is wondering, the large will fit a nikon d3300. it's a wicked tight fit, and only with the smaller of the two kit lenses, but good enough for me.

Extra Large: Great case; too small
Excellent case. The strap is comfortable, its very well padded, its super light, and zips easily. The belt mount is very strong and super secure, but it’s too darn small. As you can see in the pictures, my 6D Mark II is way too big, and thats a small full frame DSLR. Its not limited too badly by lens length, its the viewfinder, and width of camera. As you can see in the photos. Great case, but if you have a full frame DSLR kiss it goodbye. I could hardly fit the camera, let alone the strap. The case itself is great, the reason for 4 stars is that an extra large should fit a large camera. Osprey is not clear about their sizing. If they make an XXL I would buy it.
