AOUCE Digital Kitchen Timers for Cooking, Timer for Kids 12 Pack Green

These things are cheap, and I would buy them again without hesitation. They work well, and I've dropped one a few times on the kitchen floor and it didn't break. They seem flimsy but hold up. A magnet came loose from the back of the one I keep on the fridge but a drop of glue took care of that. The alarm isn't super loud but it gets the job done. The alarm stops after so many seconds but it goes on enough to get me off the couch with its persistence.

I am impressed with the AOUCE Digital Kitchen Timer 2 ct. The nicest feature, to me, is that it can time in both minutes and seconds. I often do tasks where I need to time for 15 or 30 seconds. These timers allow for that. I also like the volume of the alarm. I can easily hear this alarming, even from another room. The display is large and easy to read. Setting the desired time is simple and straightforward. The timer also has “recall”, so that it auto resets to the previous set time. This is handy when doing repetitive tasks. They include a magnet on the back of the timers. I have all stainless steel appliances, so I am not able to utilize that feature. However, they also provide a hanging loop. I put a twist tie through that and am hanging it on a cupboard handle next to the stove (see photo). Handy, yet out of the way! All in all, these are great little timers for Kitchen and general household tasks. I got this 2 pack kitchen timer to use for my kid's homework time. The numbers are big and easy to read and my son uses it on his own to set timers and stopwatches to do his homework. The alarm is loud enough to hear from far away. It has both the magnetic back and the stand that are convenient to put all over the place and I can put it on the fridge or counter. Both timers came working properly and simple to use. I leave one in his homework binder and one in his bedroom. Overall, simple and useful timers that do the job.

The timers themselves are really good. They work well, they're easy to use, they're loud enough. I like that you can actually turn them fully off so that it doesn't drain the battery. The magnets are strong, however they are attached to the timers with sticky stuff that does not hold on. One timer keeps falling off of my refrigerator. The other is on the top of my dryer - when I went to move the timer, the magnet stayed where it was and only the timer came off. I am going to have to glue them on more properly. However, based on the price of these and how well everything else works, I'm okay with that. But be aware this might need doing.

Very pleased with this product. Works exactly as described. Sure, I have other timers in the kitchen (on the oven, the microwave) but if I'm elsewhere in the house, multi-tasking, sometimes I don't hear them, so i take this one with me. And, I like a timer I can move around. When I'm timing two dishes, I can put one by each. Did I mention they're perfect for that little 20 min cat nap? It's good that they power off so I can save battery power. Very pleased with these little timers and you can't beat the price.

Cheap, worked fine for about 3 years, then the screen went dark. New battery didn't help. Tried another new battery (different brand), same problem. The timer itself seemed to work, i.e. the alarm would go off, but the display was blank. Since there were two in the shipment, I tried the other one. It worked okay for about 6 months, then had the same problem, but worse. Some times it would work fine. Sometimes the display was either very dim or blank, but the timer would work. Sometimes it would reset itself (as though you had pushed the start/stop button) when it was sitting untouched on the counter. New battery didn't help. Tried a brand new Amazon battery, a fresh Duracell and a new Energizer Max. All batteries tested okay on a high-quality Triplett multimeter, but all only worked intermittently in the timer. Definitely not worth the aggravation, burned food and pots boiling over. Sent both to the electronics recycler. If a timer isn't reliable, it doesn't matter how cheap it is, you paid too much.

It is easy to set the time and I like that it is a pack of two. That allows me to set it for more than one item or sometimes I set it to go off a few minutes apart to give me a double reminder. It is sufficiently loud and the size allows you to drop it into your pocket so you do not have to stay near by to hear it go off.

I must say, at first these timers were amazing!!! They were easy to use and understand, the buttons are big and so is the time/font and makes it easier to see for us blind people. The volume on these are loud enough to hear over the vacuum or a loud TV. And they keep time just great. The ONLY BAD thing, they DON'T last long. It may be because of the price, I don't know, but I bought these mid-April and It's the beginning of July and they're deader than a door nail. I mean, you can change the battery and it doesn't matter, they no longer work. Now, I'm no electrician BUT it may be due to the magnet. For example, magnets interfere with a lot of things, they give off a certain energy and being right there next to the battery, it's either going to kill the battery or completely damage or short out the circuit board inside. Whomever made these, should have known that, because for a two pack for $5-$6, mine no longer work and it's only been 2-2.5 months. My stepdad kept replacing the battery over and over and over and they wouldn't work. So, I'm giving them 3 stars because, everything else about them is top notch, otherwise lose the magnet and you may actually have a decent running timer.
