Why did you pick this product vs others?:I already got 5 in my Adult Family Home. These are the best floor mat alarms for elders with dementia or high fall risk. I like that I can have it on vibrate or sound alarm and different volumes from where to choose. Save my residents from incidents.

This is simple to set up and is effective in alerting night caregiver that my wife is getting out of bed. She does not like someone sitting in her bedroom at night. I have a camera system so the caregiver can monitor her. The floor alarm adds assurance that the care giver will know immediately when she gets out of bed. Given her physical instability and dementia, it is important that we know when she is moving about.

This saved my sanity. Used for my mom who had Alzheimer’s and dementia. I wanted to know when she got out of bed at night. Helped me to sleep knowing I’d hear the alarm when she got up. I only had it for 3 months, as my mom passed.It is sensitive to cats stepping on it, so take that into consideration. I had to remove cats from the room at night.

The written user instructions are very basic and can be confusing as they do not explain things simply - BUT that aside - the mat and minitor are very simple to set up and once you get the them working it is an absolute godsend. It works exactly as I had hoped it would. And although I am a heavy sleeper it instantly wakes me up when Omi steps on it if she gets out of bed. I am very happy with this mat and am happy to recommend it to anyone looking after a loved one who needs to be cared for closely to ensure their safety.

Work as advertised. Both of my parents lived with me and had dementia. Had one on each side of the bed. Life saver!! We were instantly notified if they got out of bed. 100% recommend.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! The only reason I rated one star is because it wouldnt allow me to post my review without rating with stars and there was no zero star rate...I ordered this mat to use by my elderly mothers bedside so that I would know if she gets up, please please please be aware that this product is nothing like the description. I have never written a review on a product but this one seemed important...this item is literally paper thin and feather lite. I am only writing this because I don't want anyone else to fall for this scam, I would never put this by my mother's bedside or anyone's for that matter because it would cause anyone to trip! I have included pictures to show just how thin it is, so you can imagine how lite it is. Please if you care about your loved one DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM. The seller should be very ashamed and this should not be on the market!

The product does what it is suppose to do, and does it well. Now when my wife wakes up I can wake up to help her. Not sure she loves it but I sure due. Without it I would be afraid to leave the room, but now I can be there to help her as soon as she steps on it. I don’t write a lot of reviews on products but this one is a must if you need to be alerted when our love one gets up.

This doesn’t work upstairs to downstairs. We wish it work for us. It is truly a good product, unfortunately not for us.
