I have used them at many family gatherings and it’s a success very time! Thanksgiving, family dinners at homes and restaurants! Definitely recommend!

Q: Could I use these in a college class or lecture to focus on the professor?

I have ADHD and a sensory processing disorder with sound. I use these in business meetings and seminars frequently. They block all the background noises and allow me to focus in to what I want to focus on. I can even hear when someone whispers something to me, too. But again, all the background noise is cancelled out. Super genius! Life savers for me for sure!

Q: Has anyone tried this for reducing the volume of a screaming child?

Yes! I think it is nice because you still can be aware and hear your child, but it's like turning the volume down on it. I use them when we travel, as we sleep in the same room, but his sounds machine keeps need up, but I still need to know if he wakes up too

Q: Does this help people with misophonia?

I am sensitive to sounds and smells and lights and stuff, so I often wear things to lessen the effect of these. The best thing is that it comes with 3 options and the rubber is both soft and substantial enough to make a tight seal. You will still be able to hear things, in fact, I usually wear the "quiet" ones going about my everyday life. If you're sensitive to sound, you're certain to still hear people speaking, it simply won't be as annoying and these look nicer/fit better than regular foam earplugs.
